Sorry for all the quotes, this thread was damn funny
Brassard, Pageau, Chabot, Perron and soon Gagne and Lajoie... damn it must be hard for separatists.
Louis Leblanc, Gabriel Dumont, Olivier Fortier, Mathieu Carle, Charles Hudon, Zachary Fucale, Daniel Audette sniffff
Maybe Nathan Beaulieu will save the face!
I find it hard to believe you're a fan of anyone but Montreal because your Habs bias is so clearly evident in all your posts.
Seriously, the guy goes in ALL Sens related threads on the main boards and crap on the Sens. The evidence is there in his post history.
Those are the funniest on this site "I am NOT biased"
Anyway, the only Habs player I'd package Chabot for is PK Subban.
oops
So basically it would take nothing less than Sergachev? Maybe Juulsen + Scherbak ?
Yes to Sergachev because he will make an impact faster. No to Juulsen + Scherbak even if the value is (almost) there (however I have no faith in Scherbak), but not looking at downgrading assets (and seriously, Sens don't need forward prospects right now unless it's a blue chip 1st liner)
Why would the habs ever want to trade for Chabot??
Because the OP is a Habs fan and also Chabot is from Quebec. If you live in Montreal, you should know that the need for french players is a THING
A mid-late first rounder. I wouldnt pay more than McCarron. We already have Beaulieu to do what Chabot will ever do. A better prospect, better junior numbers, etc.
Sure.
WE dont WANT him. WE have more than enough of B level prospects.
Chabot, Brown and White would be Habs 2nd, 3rd and 4th best prospects after Sergachev, and by a good margin
Idc, dont mentionn his name with that of Sergechev. Both played preseason games, and as an 18 y/o, Sergechev was miles ahead of him.
With Habs glasses, true.
Well that didnt take long before some Sens fans got angry other teams fans are interested in their prospect
lol no Sens fan got angry, re-read again... Drama was sparked by a Habs poster.
Get out with that garbage and man up. You should be proud to help the Canadiens become a better team at the Senators expense. It makes all the sense in the world that the Senators should make their system and team weaker in order to help the Canadiens become stronger overall. If you can't see through this then you're not a real hockey fan.
funny hearing those last few posts. I would take McCarron and Juulsen over Chabot. Chabot went 18th in 2015 and likely would have gone close to that in 2016.
Draft position argument... If only people could understand that after the top-3 it's almost a crapshoot...
Look at where Stone and Hoffman were taken, and also the french players Pageau and Perron
I doubt any team should be concerned with trading within the division when the players involved are chabot. If u think otherwise
Man, you're one of the most "incredible" posters I have read on HF, and I have been here for a decade... Dayummmm
The Sens literally don't need, or even remotely want anything, in that package, all due respect to Andrighetto
I'm guessing he was poking fun at allllll those Habs proposals, must be some kind of universal package
