Unfortunately we didn’t have the energy needed to win tonight. Big guns struggled to generate offense and only the third line was effective. It hurts now, but it will help us in the long run. Broberg was great and the younger guys took a big step.

we can get back here next year but the new GM will have a lot to work to do. We got here in spite some of our players.
Outrageously hard to win with it all with the wasted cap/dead cap we have compared to all the advantages the sunbelt teams have.

Biggest off season in Oilers history coming up.

Made a series out of it.. I'm proud of the Oil but still dissatisfied with the result.

I hope the franchise can make a couple splashes this offseason. We desperately need talented/gritty/tough to play against forwards. I felt that the Oil were way too soft. It'd be great to upgrade goaltending, defense and a few forwards that play opposite to McLeod.

Have a great summer everyone!

It is best to look at how great of a run we went on.

The offense couldn't overcome babrovski, the panthers and the refs in this game. It happens

Best news? We missed out on all the recent opportunities to be involved in the recent trades to upgrade our team.

Yay...

Frustrating, but that's hockey. Despite all the BS about this being a lopsided series, these two teams were very evenly matched. A lot of it came down to bounces. We had a great chance to make it 2-1, they came back the other way and took the lead. In a game 7, the officials aren't calling anything unless it's puck over the glass, and the ice here is a disaster. That made it tougher to come back. If we get that 2-1 lead I think the cup is ours right now.

Regroup and build around Ceci and Janmark, lets gooo.
May have been the best game I've seen Ceci play.
Janmark was a beast in the first period, then it seemed like he got no ice after that.
McDavid with no points in the last two games hurt.
Draisaitl was bad pretty much every game but game 6.
Still, hell of a job to get this far.

Imagine how much energy we would have of Stuart force us to play 3 extra games.

If he let in a goal like that in game 7 I am going my lawyers first thing in the morning to sue him on behalf of the climate for forcing them to fly 3 times back and forth

If you don't blame tonight and all your problems on Stuart Skinner than you are obviously a Stuart Skinner fan girl and want to have his children.
