It’s not the 1C answer, but I really do wish that more experiments were tried with wingers to see if anyone could be a plausible option at center. I sometimes see Farabee and Foerster as players who are smart enough to maybe make it work. Worst case scenario, it doesn’t work out and you move on. Best case scenario, you unlock a lot more value in your roster than you thought you had. Foerster, in particular, does a lot of things that remind me of young Couturier, particularly keeping good body position between the opponent and the net, and making smart plays out of board battles.

Foerster can’t skate well enough to play C on a good team. He’s a good RW, why mess with that? Michkov and Tippett and you have your ride side.

Absolutely foolish mind set, you're not a strong team, you're not a legit contender, so you're going to lose 2 guys for nothing because you'll make the playoffs and get bounced out in round 1, they just can't help themselves

Foerster has primarily played lw this year, and couts isn't a great skater either, so I don't think that will mess with him the way you think it will

We've already said numerous times what they can say, we aren't going to continously repeat it, but the optics of this team are horrible, which doesn't go over well because management has already shown signs of the same from previous regimes, and the fan base has very little trust in them as it is due to the things they say and what they don't do

I haven’t seen any tape on him but I hear a lot of people refer to him as a worse Risto. For what it’s worth I don’t think Risto is as bad as people make him out to be. I think at this point in his career he is a solid physical defensive 3rd pair d. That said he is overpaid by about 2-3 mil for what he is.

So they're a po team if other teams don't meet their demands? Stone cold logic there. Guess they finally figured out a path to the play offs every year.
