If TK is on the move, maybe Buffalo might be a good trading partner? They were close to a PO spot last year and have a lot of young guys, adding a prime TK to their lineup may push them over the edge. Maybe a package with Hart for a mega-deal? No idea in terms of value but what if:

To BUF:
TK
Hart

To PHL
Savoie
PHL 2nd
2024 2nd
RFA Rights to Tyson Jost
Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen

Too much? Not enough?

I’d do this but with a slight add from Buffalo. We add prospect Jakub Konecny so you can keep the nameplate on Flyers jerseys.

Wasn't there something about Sharks possibly wanting to try to re-toll rather than rebuild? If so:

7th, Hart, Hayes (50% retained) for 4th overall and 26th overall.
I may be wrong but I believe that the Flyers FO wants to make a huge splash in this draft to acquire a top four pick in order to activate ST purchases. In today's The Athletic, COC related that Briere ran the Provorov deal by everyone before he did it-Jones, Tortorella, Hilferty and Camillo. When they all signed off, he pulled the trigger. Two observations from this. (1) The old guard was totally out of the loop; (2) The new guys acted in concert together showing that group think is what Comcast wants in the FO.
Comcast is starting to look like they know that the Flyers currently have a stink on themselves with the fan base and they want that cleaned up. The Provorov/Pride Night fiasco was the undoing of more than the player. It illustrated the tone deafness of the old FO that won't work in today's social-economic climate. There may be some others in this category as well.

Any reason the Flyers wouldn't trade Seeler now? There was seemingly some interest at the deadline but King Dingus wanted to hold on to him. Deal him for a 5th round pick and get rid of TDA. Roll with a top six of Sanheim, York, Walker, Zamula, Attard, Risto and sign a depth guy.

By the 5th roster move, they're gonna be like 'do we really need to get 5 people in a room to sign off on this?' they're all gonna get sick of it, just as long as the line doesn't break down

Torts was adamant about keeping him. He actually has more value than that because other teams wanted him.

Doubt anyone would trade for him now since they can get a guy for free via UFA. Now AFTER a month or so after FA, teams that lose out might circle back. But often by then, they start seeing kids show well in rookie camps, etc... and they often decide just to wait and see if a kid can fill the spot instead.

But who knows, it only takes 1.

It is refreshing for the FO to get into the 21st century and realize that there is more to an on ice move than merely a player. There are social and economic impacts that go outside of the cap limitations.
I've heard from friends that they don't want to spend money to support a club that employs homophobes, racists and other types of ne'er do wells. Granted that one can't expect every organization to be full of choir members but when players exhibit behavior that would get a potential ticket buyer fired at their job, go on the field/ice, it makes some want to disengage with that club.

It sounds good. Me personally I have Savoie potential as our top line winger. My opinion on Kulich is lower, but they seem to have around the same value it seems so swap Savoie for Kulich I say yes easily. Can't discount a player that filed for exemption status linking up with Granato.

I don't think Jost does much here though.
