17 lbs of muscle. The NFL training camp tradition is making its way to hockey. I’m just sad we didn’t get Na Brown-style daily coverage.

Yep. They’re boned.

Yeh... if he was 18-19 years old? I could 100% believe 17lbs of muscle (alongside a good ~5+lb of fat!) being added in a summer.

But at 27? Even if has a crrraaaazy metabolism and did everything perfectly? 5 months is probably "possible" to add like ~10lbs maximum.

I don't trust Jonesy's story at all. They're just trying to deflect from the fact they were trying to turn Sanheim into a a broken down Torey Krug over the summer.

Yeah, it's hard to take 17 lbs seriously, but Sanheim is clearly thicker and stronger, as is Zamula.

Maybe there is something to the "country club" atmosphere that pervaded the organization in the past. Certainly seems like a lot of players are taking summer conditioning more seriously.

I thought it was getting back to the old days?

The country club is in the front office.

STG with Jones:

1. Sanheim added like 17 pounds of muscle, looks to be a diff guy
2. Staal gets right to choose if he wants to go, mentoring the young guys
3. Kids will play, veterans will rotate in and out
4. Jones was impressed with Zamula and Andrae - expects both to play, confident young men. I think he said Zamula was in Voorhees all summer and got his shoulder? healthy
5. On Frost: been good, winning puck battles and showing Jones a lot of good stuff, Jones likes his ability to create plays, has a unique skillset

Other random stuff:
1. Missteps were made by previous regime
2. They didn't expect Brink to have this good of a camp
3. Zamula and Sanheim as a pair impressed Jones
4. For the 1,000th time, he states how he understood why fans were mad, and that he gets the frustration
except..he still doesn't

This has to be the third or fourth time you've said this about each.

And then the player is the same guy theyve always been

Wait.

So a 36 year old UFA signing CONTROLS his future, but we would not let Giroux control his and come back to the Flyers.

They make it so easy to hate this team.

Handing control and respect to a f***ing career Ranger after disrespecting Giroux. Management is as revolting as they've always been, no way around it. It makes sense, seeing as it's all the same people.

He was. I know you're just saying that to troll, though. You made that clear when you admitted you're desperate for Frost to bust for trolling purposes. Trolling is more important to you than the team.
trolling my ass. admitted I was desperate? more false narratives which is your usual.

Just because you say it doesn't make it true. They decided they didn't want him back. Oh my what a tragedy. That's not disrespectful That's business.

You want to disagree that was the wrong move have at it.
