IMO, good trades are ones where both sides benefit equally. When one side gets screwed, the one that was short changed will never deal with you again and the one that ripped off the other party has a hard time finding trading partners in the future.

There's that problem, and the problem of players/prospects on other teams getting leaked, as well as information about how teams value players that can then be used by other teams pushing deals. I don't think there's any argument going on about Forsberg. Just the Lindros trade was brought up so Forsberg was brough up naturally.

It's a lot, but dumping a bunch of assets (some of which might see an NHL cup of coffee) for a guy who definitely isn't playing next year is also an investment in the #SelloffForCelebrini, so could be a two birds, one stone sort of thing?
