To be fair, these players all travel to all these cities, American and Canadian, all work with each other who have all played everywhere and talk about experiences.

I get what your saying and other than making jokes, I understand I have next to no input on the QOL outside of where I live. But these guys all have more geographical/cultural experience place to place than any of us.
If you're talking about a small subset of cities in North America, sure. I'm pretty sure a lot of us here have done a fair amount more world travel than these players.

I have as well, but I have not know what it was like to be a hockey player and live in and work in these cities, but I'd imagine a lot of guys in the NHL have, if not at least spent the days and night they were playing there in the cities and spent significant amount of time with other players who have.

And as much as you are proud of your world travels, we aren't talking about the world. Just a very specific group of cities.

Not going to speak on the other Canadian cities but the only American cities with an NHL team that are 'fancier' than Toronto/Montreal/Vancouver are probably NYC, LA (I guess you can also include the Bay Area with SJ) and Chicago depending on which ones were talking about.

Toronto dwarfs both Montreal and Vancouver but a place like Montreal is 100 percent on par with cities like Philadelphia or Boston.
Seattle is pretty amazing. I haven’t been to San Jose but being about an hour away from San Francisco (SJ) would be enticing too.

Your post is very confusing. A lot of them do not spend significant amounts of time in all cities. Most of their trips are short and infrequent. I'm not sure why you feel the need to go on the attack. My point is they are exposed to very little cultural variation, since we're again talking about a small subset of North America.

But don't most of these players rent homes rather than buy homes where they play? Even so, if they did purchase a home, they often make back their money or even more when they sell it in the future.

yes but with each other.
Rent is more expensive I suspect as well.

The cost of acquisition is high in many parts of Canada (land transfer tax etc) makes it a bit of a challenge if the term is to short
