Please Understand
Lose the Buff; lose the war. That's how the saying goes, right?

I only watched the 3rd period, but man, what a great game to only watch 1/3rd of the game. Motherf***ers stacking 4 across the blue line, forcing a dump in every time. About as exciting as a wet fart.

I am still unsure I saw a single pass tape to tape for the Jets today.

Or seems the Jets struggle against "desperate teams". That tells me they lack intensity. They want to play in the conference final again and lack the fire that got them there.

Shoutout to Munz for the shutout jinx.

Maurice has still not figured out a counter to the trap after the Vegas series last playoffs.

This team how they are currently playing is not a contender. The last 5 games have confirmed that for me. My expectations have been lowered appropriately. They should have been 0-5 in the last 5 games had it not been for the luck in SJ and Van.

The refusal to separate Wheeler and Scheifele is a huge concern for me. They need to put Perreault or Appleton instead of Wheeler just to try something different. In 4 of the last 5 games, the Jets have failed to score more than 1 goal (and looked awful to boot). When that happens everything should be fair game.

The Wheeler contract gives me regrets after every few games. The garbage play of Connor takes the sting out of it somewhat though.

I'd say the way things are going in the West right now, no one is a contender then.
