Watched Madoff-Monster of Wall Street on Netflix last weekend. 4 part documentary that does a really good job painting the picture of his rise and fall and how his scheme worked. Fascinating stuff.

Also does a good job hammering the SEC for their failure to catch this sooner.....

On the list.

If this topic interests and infuriates you, as it does me (the Casino remains wide open for business), check the typically thorough Frontline four part documentary series, Money, Power and Wall Street,

Not enough indigestion?

We watched it too, and came away with the same response. The clawbacks from early clients, while within the law, were pretty gross. Just an awful story all around, especially that no one at JPM even had to fall on their sword, when several deserved to be run through with it.

On the list.

Will definitely add this to the list.

If any hockey fans haven't yet watched the Letterkenny spinoff Shoresy, get on that. It's been renewed for a second season, and it's basically a modern day telling of Slap Shot. It's a lot more gritty and far less goofy than Letterkenny too, if you don't appreciate that aspect of the show it spun off of.

I'd also say check out Reservation Dogs too. So different and so funny than anything else on the air now.

Haven't watched it yet, but it's on my list. Seems like a decent premise at least.
Yes, but isn't Harrison Ford like, 90 years old? Give up the ghost, dude.

First met him in American Graffiti. Great, great cast. Written and directed by George Lucas.

Definitely going to ✔️ the former. Thanks to all who posted about it. Don't live in Canada and had no idea.

Looking forward,

✌️😌

I didn't care for Shoresy as much. I was disappointed. I like the Shoresy character, but the spinoff didn't have the depth of characters that Letterkenny did and I thought it was a bit of a one-trick pony. I'll give the second season a chance, though....

It was a bit for me to get into at first given it was vastly different in tone than Letterkenny and I love that show, but the family reunion scene won me over. I was howling laughing the entire scene.

I feel suuuuuuuper old

911 and 911 Lone Star are both updated versions of that show.... people forget Emergency was a midseason replacement back in 1972, and 911 HAS now surpassed them episode wise as it's now in season 7; 911LS just started season 4 this past week.... Emergency still plays weeknights on FETV

When we got our new Roku TV, one of the channels showed old shows like that, and Emergency! was the first one we watched a couple of episodes of. Even the cars in the show make me feel old.
Three words......Nurse Dixie McCall.

Yeah, I might have had a thing for her back in the day.

I am an absolute addict of both shows

I have multiple Letterkenny Shoresey jerseys, lol - awaiting the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs version to show up currently

I have a bunch of tee shirts from both, but no official sweaters/jerseys. My favorite is this one:
