my kids got me Oculus virtual thing. I tried it but gave me vertigo. I guess just not my thing.

I have an Oculus too. I'm with you 100%. I have vertigo in general. Probably not the best investment of my part. I got it to play "Beat Saber". That I can do for only 10 minutes. The other simulation games made me so sick. So I let my niece and nephew use it.

It's too ..much

Plan to begin "Shoresy" soonest, perhaps tonight.

Very much looking forward to the two part Bill Russell documentary that airs Wednesday on Netflix.

Just started watching a new show called Extraordinary. It's pretty hilarious so far. I dig it because it's a twist on all the super hero movies, and it's very sarcastic and a little mean spirited. The premise of it is that when you turn 18, you develop your super power and everyone in the world has one. Except for the main character who still has yet to have it come to her and she's 25.

Watched a couple episodes of "The Boys," and it's delightfully mean spirited as well.

looking forward to it.
I dont do video games. Last one I owned was Atari in early 80s. No joke.

Not a gamer myself.

The only two I ever played were Blade Runner and Half Life, the latter prompted images from the game when I closed my eyes. Yikes. No thanks.

That was 20 years ago.

Better to have played one than none!

I got my dad Microsoft Flight Simulator over the summer and he loves it. Not much a video game per say, but fun and very exciting nonetheless. My dad's in his 80's and used to fly small planes so this was exciting for him.
My brother Michael is an IT engineer for Samsung, and if he isn't aware of it, I'll relay your suggestion. He loves that kind of thing.

Thank you,

Mayor of Kingstown is Golden, while I like Shoresy, it`s Letterkenny light, not as funny IMO

The newer version is so great! They even got the rudders for your feet! Haha

I kinda want to try this now.

We had one of the Microsoft Flight Simulators in the 90s when we were kids and it was fun to just fly into large buildings in the city. I think they took that feature out around 2002 for some reason.

But the new one does look pretty cool, I like travel and landscapes and such, and am curious to learn how to fly but never will because of a fear of heights and dying. Probably worth exploring this, I'm pretty sure I could find a recent year's edition for very cheap if it's not free to download somewhere.

It's absolutely fantastic. My dad used to fly small planes when he was younger. He's in his 80's and has no issues playing it. You can buy certain planes in game if you want. They've got "missions" like top 10 dangerous places to land and you gotta land correctly. It's VERY intense. I'm afraid of planes and heights too, and have never been on one. Don't plan on ever going on a plane lol When I play, I just do the bare minimum. And the airports are legit. They did their research on not just that but the towns, cities, landmarks around it. It's a beautiful game.

Great de-stesser too.

They have a Top Gun Challenge which was unique and exciting. My dad dominated me on that. It was hilarious.
