I don't know

Minny appears to be a lot better than yesterday
Really? I think Fleury is a downgrade from Kakkonen... maybe he lights it up in the playoffs but that's a 50/50 chance

Kakko was not their problem and he was cost controlled

Billeck with the mixed imagery -- something's cooking in those iron pipes six ways from Sunday plenty more fish in the oven.

Coop for a pair of seconds and/or a useful player would be a good haul. Stats for a 3rd.

Fleury is a proven playoff goalie

Middleton adds a mean D-man and Minny just got a little tougher to play against

It's gonna be tough for them, I expect them to get to the 2nd round but Colorado is so good. They have to go for it this year though since they're going to lose about $13m in cap space next year and almost $15m in the 2 years after that.

I mentioned yesterday one of my good friends is a big Avalanche fan. He says that Colorado is very high on Barron and the ask would be Ehlers for him, which is obviously a no go.

He did mention that he thinks the Avs will offer Behrens straight up.

I think if he does go to Colorado that the value falls somewhere between Behrens and Barron.

If we can steal Barron I would be on cloud nine.

Behrens doesn't match any need for us, even longer term. I would take that only if the offers elsewhere are very disappointing.

I think that suspicion is getting less sneaky by the minute. I’m expecting him to stick around and I think they’ll try hard to re-sign him again this offseason.

I’m OK with that. I still like Stastny and what he brings to the team and if the value isn’t there for
him then you keep him.

Copp needs to go, though.

Trading him now doesn't preclude re-signing him in the off-season. If anything, he should be grateful to be given a chance to compete.

Stastny has 17 goals and 31 points. He is a leader with playoff experience that can play centre or wing. He would be very good value for a contending team.

Huh, I didn't realize his point total was that high.

I could have been wrong about his value then.

Very true. Stats strikes me as a guy who may be done wanting to play in Canada, but if the Jets are icing a strong team may consider joining in for a last run -- knows the room, knows the city, guaranteed role, etc.

Don't think trading him would have any impact on him resigning here, although several sources have said it's unlikely.

Honestly I think Copp would have been a huge pickup for them - their only hope is to grind their way to the finals and hope Kaprisov scores two goals a game...

Georgiev would have been a better choice imo - we will see

From the main's rumour thread

Look at the source and compare it to what all the other insiders are saying. If Eklund is saying the opposite of all the insiders you can pretty much assume he made it up

Everyone else is saying Colorado is the frontrunner for Copp
