Some notes:
Josh told Nance and Romo he thinks Ty Johnson is the best 3rd down back in the NFL. That's pretty interesting and saying something! I might still want my best playmaker in the rb room in on some 3rd downs in Cook (despite the drops), but for now it seems to be working and they were great on 3rd downs yesterday.
Cooper seemed very emotional post game saying he has not felt this good about winning a game in a while. I wonder if they can extend him 1 or 2 years now for a fair price come off season? A healthy Cooper in this offense could be a Diggs like team player when needed and good mentor for Coleman.
Mack Hollins walked to the game in his bare feet and in a construction uniform in tribute to the workers working on the new stadium. Free spirits can be interesting and help relieve stress and tensity, and he is certainly one! Another player who seems to have found his niche now here.
Benford gave up one catch on the night, his extension is going to be near 100M+ (4 years) imo.
The Bill's will get back Coleman, KIncaid, Brown, Milano, Carter and Smoot in the coming weeks from injury to bolster the lineup. McD also mentioned Samuel is playing through a injury right now (turf toe?). Hopefully Rapp (foot), Shakir (hip), Dawkins (rolled up), and Josh (hand) are not too badly dinged up.
Ref watch: Only called the Bills for 3 pens. But did not take a deep look at the KC catch that hit the ground, and missed a blatant face mask as well. On the other end did not call Mack Hollins for a pick on Samuel td for the Bills.
