maybe a team who is in on copp is also asking about him if they fail to get coppWe haven't hear a peep about Paul though. My sneaky suspicion is that they hold onto him.
I laugh at the people who take the day off work to watch the deadline. Why not just stay at work and make the time to by real quick by watching the deadline anyway? My productivity is gonna be shot today

Well damnit. But thanks.@ICdave mentioned that he wasn't expected back any time soon on their postgame podcast after the Blackhawks game.
Trade him to the Flames so he can go cheer on his peeps along 17th Ave.JMO, but Copp must be traded. He has value that we can't just let walk out the door for nothing.
Statsny, keep him or trade him isn't as critical. Given Statsny age, there is a chance the Jets could just end up signing him again in the summer.
I think the concussions are more of a risk for his long-term health and career. He played last night, so he’s fine. I don’t think a contender is gonna be scared away, especially since he’s one of the best pieces left and other contenders are loading up.Oh shit so only 4 concussions - that changes everything
No reason to, well no good reason. From the POV of a contender, or even a pretender, Stastny should be worth just as much as Copp. His scoring this year is very nearly the same. Like Copp, he can play all 3 positions. Maybe even better as a C. Plus his all around smarts and experience would be worth a lot to a PO team, especially any one with less PO experience.
Love to see Rangers get Copp, then watch the east turn into a blood bath in the playoffs between all those teams who loaded up
I mentioned yesterday one of my good friends is a big Avalanche fan. He says that Colorado is very high on Barron and the ask would be Ehlers for him, which is obviously a no go.I'd want Barron myself if we deal him to Colorado. Former first round pick RD who has been developing well and shouldn't be that far from the NHL
And then the Avs cruise to the final in the West because nobody was willing to load up knowing they had to face the Avs eventually
I think that suspicion is getting less sneaky by the minute. I’m expecting him to stick around and I think they’ll try hard to re-sign him again this offseason. We haven't hear a peep about Paul though. My sneaky suspicion is that they hold onto him.
Silver lining, I guess, is if he’s done for the year he would still be considered a rookie next season. Let’s get that Calder!Well damnit. But thanks.
I doubt he's done for the year. He likely has the same time line as Wheeler and Ehlers had for a shoulder injury. 6 weeks or so. This Thursday would be week 5.Silver lining, I guess, is if he’s done for the year he would still be considered a rookie next season. Let’s get that Calder!
