Not that I’m advocating trading Moreno but Morsoi said the Tigers would have interest in Moreno as their catcher of the future.

Moreno’s baseball trade value covers the value of Skubal, Soto, and Lange.

Could send them Moreno, and the arms these would replace (Banda and Beasley) for Skubal, Soto and Lange. And send Collins down to make room for Skubal.

I was really hoping Tapia would be traded for Clevinger
:sarcasm:

Haha you could write a headline that said “Playoff teams in the NL West and AL East pair up for a trade of OF Tapia and P Clevinger” and still be right.

Also Tapia looks like a legit prospect. Seems steep for Clevinger.

Did anyone else completely forget that Joe Musgrove was drafted by the Jays and traded for JA Happ?

Was it him and Marsinick in the same deal?

Edit: Marsinick was part of the Reyes/Buerhele/Josh Johnson deal

But then Philly traded Musgrove too, or else how did he end up with SD? Listen, I can’t blame major league teams for not being able to predict the future 100%

Quintana doesn’t move the needle for me. Might as well just stick with Kikuchi and Stripling. We badly need some power arms in the BP

Rodon is my preferred target. A rental so price wouldn’t be that high.

I saw the rumor the Yankees were offering Peraza for Montas. Would you guys put Orelvis in a deal for Montas?

I like Skubal but I dont know if I am offering the #1 prospect in baseball for that package.

Haha the Astros traded us Happ! No blaming anyone, I was just shocked when I went to Musgrove's fangraphs page and saw the Jays drafted him 46th OA in 2011.

Yeah I’d put Orelvis in a deal. Jays have a bunch of candidates to be rule 5 takeaways. I believe Orelvis has to be added to the 40 man next year or we lose him no doubt. Might want to trade him to not have to go through that

Why do I have a feeling Atkins is going to do something crazy.. it’s wayyyy too quiet

Soto is holding up the trade market.
Maybe he’s why Kerfoot and Holl are still Leafs.

I’d be 400% more fine trading Orelvis than Moreno.

I would trade him but not for that reason. Would prefer it to be for someone else though.

I just don't get how if the Dodgers want him, they don't get him. The package they could put together is probably insane.

It’s amazing the resources they have. Amazing player development, they always seem to have a top farm system and they obviously have the money to spend on the roster. It’s actually amazing they’ve only won 1 W.S since Roberts became manager.

I can see the Jays becoming similar, maybe not to the extent of their pockets. But we always do rather well in IFA, Draft and seem to have been spending money in Free Agency. Sign players to fill gaps, trade away from our strong prospect pool when needed.

It also helps when you probably give the best front office mind in baseball unlimited money in the Dodgers case.
