Completely forgot that the Hoboken station don't have raised platforms like you'd see on the subway or other commuter trains. It's at ground level. Train wouldn't have had to be be going that fast to cause that kind of damage since it just went through the barricade.
Only 1 dead so far is a minor miracle. Thank god.
The platform can be absolutely jammed with people when one or more trains are letting out. It seems like that wasn't the case at the time, which is extremely fortunate given that it was rush hour.
Hurricane Matthew might reach Cat 5. Hasn't been one of those in the east in about a decade.
There's about a 10-35% chance that it has a 90% chance of being in our vicinity by Saturday.
I've been experimenting with UV resins for a little while now and I love the stuff.
Next Saturday arrival to our area you think?
I'd eat that if there wasnt a hook in it.
Both Vin Scully & Dick Enberg retired today. Two sports voices I've heard for literally my entire life.
Strange how you miss the great voices/commentators. Pat Summerall and John Madden are another two I miss.

Oh my....Enberg was fantastic.
As a met fan I miss McCarver and Kiner.
I don't like the looks of this Matthew. Funny though, Obama promised to shutdown Guantanamo. Matthew might just do it.
Guantanamo looks like its going to get blasted.
Updated track probability.
