Maybe they should do some homework. His numbers compare to Jack Hughes...is he a middle 6 player? Do they know he has 9 points in his last 5 games? Maybe some pre show prep might be in order.
Agreed, but insulting people is childish

Its too early to label Slaf as he hasn't it his ceiling. Let's enjoy his development, he's becoming a hell of a player!

Not sure questionable is the term I would use.

There is only 17 players who managed PPG+ in their age 19 season. Out them, only 3 were born after 1980: Sidney Crosby, McDavid and Stamkos. Only one was born in the 70s: Lindros.
So by what she’s saying Matthews wasn’t PPG so he is a bust, Jack Hughes is a bust, even Bedard this year isn’t PPG so he is a bust

I listened to 2mn of it, it's not even anti-Slaf it's just moronic (not surprised they're out of work).

By their definition any top 3 pick (forward) should be a star which they define as PPG and 1st overall should be top20 in the league e.g. by this definition Slaf is a bust, only problem is that it makes no sense.

Jack Hugues was a bust his first 2 seasons, same with Stuzle, Draisatl. Hischier is back to being a bust this year, Lafreniere, Dach, Kappo, Byfield, KK, McTavish, Bedard, Carlsson, all busting, etc.

Juraj has high level puck skills and coordination. Combined with his compete and size it makes him very hard to contain. And you still feel he’s just learning to use his body. One of the most striking things about watching him in his draft year was his elite puck protection ability, and we still have yet to see that in the NHL. That will be exciting to watch develop…

I I always backed up my opinion with something and didn't go after people for having the opposing opinion. Unless they went after me first, then all bets were off.
I could easily be having a faulty memory as I occasionally forget yesterday's dinner. Sorry for being a twit, it also occasionally happens to me.

look I can turn around and say he's looking really good but we also don't have to pretend and flail around trying to justify a shooting percentage at 15-20% and say that it is realistic for him to keep this up

he'll slow down, that doesn't mean his progression will stall or regress

Well it does actually though lol (at least statistically). I’m just hyped that a kid the team has developed is finding confidence here. We haven’t had that since Subban.

Slaf seems to be St-Louis's pet project and they seem to be training him in an Ivan Drago-like manner.

Works for me.

What would people be happy with in terms of point total this year? 40 for me would be fine.
