getting super excited for sweeping promises sohw later this week. they are 2/2 on releases. great band and curious how they pull it off live.

folks, if you can get tickets I highly recommend going to see Stevie Nicks when she's here next month. Incredible show.
Her voice sounded really good when she came to town with Chrissy Hinde in 2017, but the concert experience was just average because of how much she talked between songs (monologuing 5+ minutes in a couple of cases). Turns out she was blabbing to lend a storyteller element to the "Live in Concert" DVD for which crews were filming that night. I assume that when she's not filming for the home audience, the show has a brisker pace.

I'm heading to Toronto this weekend to see Sigur Ros. Always regretted missing out when they came to Pittsburgh.

she talked for probably 30 seconds between most songs and 1 or 2 minutes a couple of times. One story may have been 3 or 4 minutes, but I actually liked that about it the show.

Goddammit I was going to queue up Neil Young but I forgot he's off Spotify. Same thing happened to me recently with Big Black.
