Not to combo break but it's strange as I was literally listening to some Bruford solo stuff this morning. Course I guess you could listen to almost anything and eventually Kevin Bacon it back to KC somehow.

Throw in that his START in the industry was as part of Zappa's band, you'll often hear music types wax poetic that if you can hang with Frank you can hang anywhere.

Have a good friend who used to play sax at a bar I managed who was in Zappa’s band for a decade. Dude absolutely ripped. Had a jazz trio with him, a guy who played in Miles’s band with Tony Williams in the sixties and a guy who played piano on Endless Love.

It was like going to church every Tuesday.

He’s coming here this weekend to play at free outdoor concerts called Hardly Strictly Bluegrass. He and Jerry Harrison have teamed up and are performing their version of the album Remain in Light…look forward to it very much…

One of the best records of all time. Maybe you need to listen to more of Eno's ambient records when you get negative towards the Penguins @Andy99 :P
