DOPE.

Bring the earplugs though, they LOUD.
Dude you were right about this. I went without for 45 seconds and put em right in. Those other bands I mentioned (and the Boris I saw 12 years ago) were not quite this massive.

First time I see Atsuo up front singing. Really brought some character. It was a riot of a show. Crowd was crazy. Great night.

Yeah, they bring the decibels. I've seen a few louder bands (Sunn O))), MBV, Sleep) but not many.

Saw Boris with Michio Kurihara when they put out Rainbow and I think my hearing is still f***ed.
Same, I think he had two CRANKED 135 watt ultra-linear Twin Reverbs with the treble on 10. Just absolutely punishing.

The band sounded great last night…St Vincent was terrific too…unfortunately Bryan Ferry’s voice is shot….I mean he turned 77 yesterday but he has lost the distinctive quality to his voice that gave RM its sound, and he had to sit for like half the concert…some songs he ”sung” in a loud whisper…still, RM looked like they were having fun…Manzanera can still really play…

Was Eno there?

No…that would have been awesome but Mackay and Thompson were there too, and all of them are still really good on their instruments even in their 70s…
