He was easily the best player on the sharks for his first game, but he's been on IR sinceHow does Celebrini look at least
Has looked fantastic on opening night, downhill from there. No goals, no points, you don’t even notice him out thereHow does Celebrini look at least
Ah ok didn't know he was injuredHe was easily the best player on the sharks for his first game, but he's been on IR since
Sounds a lot like Doughty's season so far, except that Doughty didn't even show up for opening night.Has looked fantastic on opening night, downhill from there. No goals, no points, you don’t even notice him out there
The race between us and the Jets is on. Do they lose a game before we win one? An unstoppable force meets a movable object.
In need of a new coaching bump already? I'm sure the Shorks would be more than happy to help the Oil out again. How long until the Sharks play the Oilers?

IT is a rebuild
Who exactly were we supposed to sign in FA? Toffoli is our biggest FA contract ever, and players aren't exactly clamoring to come to the worst team in the league.I was told they are doing player development at the NHL level. Maybe there is some truth to that, but it's appears to be more like tanking to me. GMMG should have put Couture on LTIR maybe Vlasic as well, and use that extra cap room to get some solid NHLers which they sorely need.
He didn't. Probably to continue rebuilding through draft picks, taking the long road.
To be fair Couture is done and Vlasic is an AHL level player at this point in his career. Mukhmadulin is an unknown Bordeleau isn't exactly a proven NHLer.Difference is this year injures have decimated our already paper thin depth. Celebrini, Mukhmadullin, Vlasic, Couture, and also likely Borderleau have all been out and would have been regulars to this point. The latter four haven't played a single game this year. That's a lot of talent missing.
Because of this they have to play fringe players that don't belong in the NHL like Benning, Kostin, Rutta, Thrun, and Grundstrom.
Add in the so far terrible recent play from guys like Ferraro and Wennberg and it's no surprise to see them where they are right now.
Not scratched, load management/development days to lift and work on targeted skills. We'd be seeing the same from Celebrini if he were healthy. Also unless the plan changes, the plan is to keep him in the NHL per GM.How is Will Smith looking? Noticing 0 points in 6 games and starting to be scratched. At 19, feel like sending him down would be better for his development.
