Even coming off an injury this kid is way too good for the AHL.

Aside from Tarasenko, he is the non-Oilers prospect I'm most interested in following next season.

He looked ok last night. Obviously has incredible poise and vision, but you could tell he's still recovering. Scored off of a nice pass from behind the net and had a flukey shootout goal.

He has some really good vision out there and seems pretty good at stripping the puck away from his opponents.

Whats up with this guy? After reading through this thread i was expecting a PPG player that turns saucer passes into wine.

Seems quite overmatched thus far in my personal viewings of him. Too small and slow.

Struggling to adapt to the more physical, faster and less open NHL game. He's small and relatively slow, but he'll figure it out eventually and find his niche in the NHL.

And let's face it, the Finnish contingent on this board overhypes pretty much every Finnish prospect. :D

Been disappointed with his play. And I don't care about his point totals. I know this is random, but the guy reminds of Robert Reichel. Hyped up junior career, but too poor of a skater to reach the upper echelon of the NHL. I expect a similar type career (keeping in consideration that Reichel played during high scoring years).

MiG has been great in the faceoff dot and has really been laying the body on people the last few games. He got an assist today and looked pretty good. He's going to get the points sooner or later. He's been improving with every single game. Don't worry.

He's not gonna be a great player right off the bat. It's gonna take him some time to adjust and although he's not lighting it up right now, he's been playing much better the last three or so games.

As a Detroit fan he was noticeably better this game then the first game we played, he didn't look like he was getting physically dominated like the first game.

First, it's not like it's just this site that is/was hyping MiG. You guys are acting as if it wasn't for HF no one would know who this guy is.

Second, I thinks it's hilarious the "bust" like comments that are starting to pop up.

Well it's understandable that the bust comments start to pop up. They did for Kadri and all other first rounders that have had a rough start to NHL. Hell even Stamkos had his fair share of bust comments around here, even when he struggled only about half of his rookie season.

6 points in 14 games isn't that bad of a start for a rookie on a bad team. Also shooting percentage of like 5%.. he could have easily had a few more at this point

Its way different to play with Stamkos and St. Louis than Rupp and T. Mitchell for example

He's been getting better... 3 game scoring streak and THAT'S the time for doom gloomers to crowl out of their caves?

Anyway, Yeo's line combos are a complete mystery for me. Granlund looks like the game is slowing down for him and that's a really good sign for him.

Not bad but I expected a little more from him. I see him having a so so year this year and ripping it up next year
