The Ratings Thread - a lot of people watched wrestling on Super Tuesday, sort of

This. I watched both shows and both were solid.

I just don't understand why people can't enjoy two separate wrestling companies. Competition is GOOD.

The tribalism is just so nauseating.
Totally agree. I'm a dinosaur, but IMO, wrestling was never better than the peak of the WCW vs WWF days. WWF has never seen any competition and both organizations were pulling out the stops every week to try to top each other. Every week was must-see from both sides.

That Dave spin

AEW got their ass kicked, which was expected and not a big deal at all. But that spin is hilarious.
I mean it is kind of true a lot of people did watch and AEW predictably got their ass kicked. Like I am not sure people realize it but Meltzer has been doing a lot of shitting on AEW lately(some that I don't agree with) those don't typically garner as much traction though lol he was literally comparing TK to crashing WCW Bischoff earlier today lol.

1.5M is a bad night for RAW. It is not that impressive in a vaccuum.

Just makes me laugh the way he phrased it. Both networks are probably happy though.

Yeah that is fair. AEW was always going to lose the night I think and the number wasn't humiliating going up against what they were.

Agreed. Not their usual night against a stacked card. It went as expected but I think WBD is still happy with that.

WWE is definitely happy with that as they continue to try and get someone to give them a billion for the RAW and NXT tv rights.

Yeah I was about to post that, Dave did not like the bald assholes tweet one bit. Some of the harshest words I've seen him send AEW and Tony's way

WWE also had to load their show and put Cena on there and barely won the demo. I don’t know what bump they get when they announce Cena for other shows, but I’d have to think they thought they would get a million viewers and bigger demo.

They were definitely hoping for over 1M

Who wouldda thunk that Tony Khan deciding to talk mad shit hours before the shows would age like milk.

The guy takes business way too personally. I get that it makes him endearing as "One of us", but it's not good at all when you're running a multi-hundred-million-dollar company.

How hasn't someone around him offered the advice to just let it go?

Dynamite has beaten NXT every single time when they shared the Wednesday slot.

It beats Dynamite once when Dynamite is off its usual night and he won't stop. It's one rating lose, it doesn't matter.

That Swerve/Danielson match proves to me that Swerve is ready for the big time. He's no longer putting on bangers under the radar.

Billionaires and their egos, dude.

And NXT has been on a rating surge lately and they are booking with the next TV deal in mind.

When both companies have like 5-6 hours of wrestling weekly, it's hard to watch both of them. lol

This melt has been f***ing amazing to watch.

At the same time, I want Triple H to fire off a tweet at Khan. Pleading him to get some help.
