I know. I am an OLD guy and, God bless the kid, but I HATE that kind of goal.
I'm old school and I don't like this Bobby Orr kid scoring all these points. Defenseman should play defense guy is basically a rover out there!I'm old school and I don't like those kind of goals.
When you get old, "change" scares you. See the sign...Meh, I see nothing heretical about it.
Faber has been playing 30 minutes a night with Middleton, and the broken corpses of Merrill and Goligoski around. Not to mention...uhhh Damon Hunt another rookie and Mermis who is a AHLer at this point. Let's not pump the tires on Bedard playing with no body when Faber is doing this.
I agree !!!!I'm old school and I don't like this Bobby Orr kid scoring all these points. Defenseman should play defense guy is basically a rover out there!
Not sure if you are being sarcastic but I agree.Big Bedard fan but I cringe when I see the michigan no matter who scores it lol
Nah I'm being serious, I just don't like em for some reasonNot sure if you are being sarcastic but I agree.
Me, too.Nah I'm being serious, I just don't like em for some reason
Should they ban goals batted out of the air because its not baseball?I'm not a fan of the Michigan either. I would be quite happy if the NHL deemed it an illegal goal. They're playing hockey out there... not lacrosse..
Unfortunately the award has become a scoring title for rookies. It's a bit unfair, there should be a defensive & offensive rookie of the year award. It's hard to compare Bedard to Faber, you can find a legit argument for both to win the Calder trophy.
What Gretzky did resulted in points, yes... but it was the how that made him the greatest. He was 3 Steps ahead of everyone else in the game, before or since! So we shouldn't consider Gretzky to be the greatest?
I have heard a couple of media types banging that drum...typical dbags wanting to stir up the masses to get clicks...Are there seriously wild fans who think Faber should win over Bedard? lmao
and off the ground because it isn't field hockey.Should they ban goals batted out of the air because its not baseball?
People get upset about these types of goals but you never hear them complain about assists off the gloves or skates of players.Should they ban goals batted out of the air because its not baseball?
yeah it's a real demonstration of hand/eye and shows a confidence people should want in a player. i do not understand why people don't like it. As with anything, the more players pull this off, the sooner tendies will find a way to train to shut it down and we'll be back to applauding a bunch of people for "being in the right place at the right time" and having pucks ping off their pads into the net.People get upset about these types of goals but you never hear them complain about assists off the gloves or skates of players.
