I'd prefer Cozens but part of me feels they might take Podkolzin as he fits Quinn's style, not what I would want but he would be plug and play for Quinn

Picking a player to fit a coaches style is just poor asset management. Especially at the 3rd overall. There's a good chance the player will outlast this coach and that's no way to build a team. Supplementing with FA's who fit the coaches style, sure. Having an organization style, fine. But choosing a top 3 pick based on what Quinn prefers is dumb.

And that has to do with reasons completely unrelated to his personal desires. Firstly, he has a contract that runs through April 30th in the KHL, despite his team already having been knocked out of the playoffs. Second, if the Rangers bring him over via signing - they burn a year of his ELC, meaning he will be eligible and thus require protection, for the expansion draft. Even for this organization, that would be a boneheaded move of epic proportions.

The last thing on my list of fears for this team's future is Kravtsov choosing to stay in the KHL instead of coming here. He has made it clear he intends to come and will very likely be on our roster at the beginning of next year.

You gotta add talent. UFA is a great place to choose wisely. Youth off limits in any trades. Looks like our 2 best trade chips are Kreider and Brady. Thats it we need to build a winner and using the draft as the only way is short sighted. Cap Space and Buyout compliance coming soon..Lets start adding elite talent any way possible!!

I missed the 3rd due to an OCD ritual, which angered me. I turn MSG on, see the final score, and I’m not so angry anymore.

OCD and the Rangers are certainly a good / bad combination, whatever way you want to look at it. Just remember, as much as you can that you are the one in control of it, not the other way around.

Yeah I get the whole tank thing but rather they go down fighting and at least putting an effort. I did not expect them to win this game but 5-1, is hardly the outcome I wanted.
