Post-Game Talk: The Powerhouse @ Capitals - 12:30pm EST

No they’ve played their asses off and deserve better then ignorant nonsense out of fans who don’t know anything. I get it, if they were really awful and had a legit chance at the top pick, I get it. They’re far better then that so continually rooting against them like somehow they are screwing up is a joke.

I don't see anyone in here legit cheering for the other team.

It just sucks that they are one of the worst teams in the league (last in ROW) and their pick won't reflect that.
 
I don’t blame Hank for this one. One of his best friends was just traded, and it was probably hard to stay focused and be mentally tough, which is a big part of his game.
 
Loved watching them stand up for one another...DeAngelo always one of the first in the mix and he is not looking for a soft guy to grab . Shattenkirk had a chance to nail Ovie? late in the third and he just let him fly right past him ....get that clown off this club ASAP . Wilson let up on a shot at Names when he had him in his cross hairs with his head down....would have been late hit . Maybe it is sinking in for him ? Would have finished Names for this season. Enjoyable game , loved the work ethic . Hate to say it....but I am not a fan of Skjei . I think he might have a short lifespan with the New York rebuild .....just have that feeling .

I was half out of it from the flu, but from what I saw, I liked the edge Lias brought to the game today. He was stirring up some things. Even Buch had a little bit of an edge. Quinn has these guys playing hard.

Strome has been a nice addition. As far as Names not shooting, how long have we been complaining about this non-shooting over-passing team?

For the love of God, trade Shattenkirk for nothing. Use that last cap retention on him.

Which is a good influence of Quinn and shows that it was a smart move getting a guy like him to coach a team in this transition period. I like that. I have some qualms with some of his player usage and stuff, but a guy who can get his guys to run through a brick wall like this in a season that they know isn’t going to lead anywhere but the lottery is great. Very happy with Quinn’s influence here.
