Time to slow the game down, the refs can't keep up.

Just count every goal as 1.2 goals and artificially inflate it. Capitals score 4.8 goals in exciting and dramatic ice hockey contest!

horseshit coward refs didn't see the play by Lemeiux at all. Not a headshot, the player tripped before making contact with Lemieux and fell into him. To throw someone for the entire game on a play you didn't see and wasn't even a 2 minute penalty is as reckless as Kreider's elbow.

An interesting interview from Henrik and I thought he had a very strong game too and he kept Rangers as always in the game until the end. Hopefully he start next game.
 
David Quinn's post game has gone from all platitudes at the beginning of the season to the soundtrack of 8 mile by March.
 
I like Quinn post game focusing on what the team CAN control. Not gift wrapping goals and trying to look threatening on a 5 on 3. Which sounded funny because it’s so embarrassing and true.

Maybe Quinn expect more from his players @Tob - at least he did not blame the refs for the loss tonight. And there are some part of Rangers game they need to improve on for sure, and I think about the next season already in October.

Personally I hope we will see some changes in the coaching staff over the summer, and Quinn is doing a good job so far.

The Nucks weren't even especially aggressive on the PK. The Capitals would have scored 2 on that 5 on 3. Jeez. No Kreider in front, no Lemieux chasing down pucks and causing havoc, No Zuccha and Hayes controlling the puck and finding seams.......somebody has to step up and be in control. Love Tony, but because he has a crappyshot......and the league knows it......really doesnt bode well for PP. You HAVE TO get shots through.....we have the WORST point men in the league. Nobody is dangerous out there. No one!

Yes spot on @Larrybiv - they need to improve that blueline and get someone who can shot the puck.
