Blackwood very sharp so far. he has to stay that way otherwise devils gonna have to score 3 or 4 to win

Chytil needs to lower his center of gravity in those net front scrambles.. he tends to try to stand tall and he gets off balance.

I thought Hank would be good until he's like 43.

He's 37 and hit the wall so hard the wall is on LTIR.
Meh, he was great the first couple months of the season when he was being used as the starter.

His entire career has been this way. He’s bad when he’s not playing regularly and then he’s not playing as much because he’s been bad and it becomes a vicious cycle.

Big thing is he needs to learn to be good when he’s not playing 3 games a week anymore. Hopefully he has a good summer and can be a good platoon guy next year 43-47 starts or so.

I’m not willing to write him off just yet. Especially with the mental aspect, it’s more than just the team being weak. Adjusting to being older, playing less, knowing the team stinks. Probably the hardest thing he’s gone through in his career id think.

Rangers need to find a way to combine Lias’s IQ and skillset with Namestnikov’s skating.

His entire career he’s played poorly whenever he has sat for extended periods. He’s good when he’s playing every game which was even true earlier this season.

Not surprised he’s looked bad the last couple months considering he’s playing like once a week or so.

I know, and I don’t blame him for being thrown out of sync when he’s so used to being the go-to guy 85% of the time. Next year will be even worse for him, so I hope he can adjust to the more balanced workload.

Andersson goes to the front of the net, which is good, but once he gets there he just kind of stops. He's not active or really moving at all, and he won't then slide behind the goal line to become a pass option when there's no chance of a shot

One thing that does stick out with Lundqvist the last couple months is that he’s REALLY struggling on odd man rushes. It’s like a 2 on 1 against him has a better chance of going in than any other play which is very atypical of him. Even as recently as earlier this season he was bailing out the D multiple times on odd man rushes every game.

I wonder what is causing this in his game. You don’t go from being elite at something to trash in a months time in the same season. No matter how old you are or how bad the team is. I think it’s a combination of his struggles when not getting consistent playing time and also probably a large part mental problem.
