Yeah, McIlrath was stupid, but the fact that that pick was our only legit kick at the can for eight damn years (before Kravtsov) says more than the pick itself.

I won't judge Lias in that way because it just wasn't a great draft.

It isn’t Lias’ fault that he was picked where he was picked, true. I like him and I want him to succeed. To me, it just wasn’t a great pick at #7. I consider that pick and the Lindbom pick to be the only bad picks since the McIlrath pick.

All things considered, I agree. We’re great at drafting, and Gorton has been a master at this stuff for a while now.

Howden has been great since he came back. Gonna be a great shutdown C for us, his defensive game is top 3 for forwards on our team already
