In a true rebuild...He’s looking very much his age right now and not at all Sharp. Just flailing around. Not getting to his spots just doesn’t look like he cares at all. Sulking all game. 2-1 and he was sulking
I noticed that as well. Can’t totally blame the guy, but man he needs to work on that.
He certainly wasn't a star yet, but they're definitely more impressive than Chytil's first two seasons. You should look at Pasta's first two years in the NHL. Not saying he will be as good as Pasta but its not like he came in and lit the world on fire
hes not wrong........lias did nothing to stand up for himself. Espcially since he had a target on his back from the earlier hit. Lias should have been ready to go off like a fire cracker if something like this happened........and he didnt.
Has Vesey done anything for like a month? Last good game he had was against the Caps before the deadline. I was hoping that MAYBE he’d step it up in place of Hayes/Zuccarello but he just f***ing sucks. My god, did Vesey do anything tonight?
Tbf Pasta was taken in the early/mid 20s. Hopefully one of the guys we take in that area can become that good
Vesey is pretty much back to being replacement level since the start of the calendar year.Has Vesey done anything for like a month? Last good game he had was against the Caps before the deadline. I was hoping that MAYBE he’d step it up in place of Hayes/Zuccarello but he just ****ing sucks.

Pastrnak also broke in on a significantly more talented Bruins teams with guys like Marchand and Bergeron to feed off of.He certainly wasn't a star yet, but they're definitely more impressive than Chytil's first two seasons.
So he basically has to reborn. I will settle for a Ranger's Strome type of player.Really disappointing... Lias needs to do kore, I hope he understands that.
He doesn't look anything near a 7th overall pick...
He needs to look better next year -- more engaged, more active, higher skill levels, bigger and more developed body.
Yeah I can't remember a standout game from him in a long time. Hope he's just coasting and not really trying. It would actually make me feel betterHas Vesey done anything for like a month? Last good game he had was against the Caps before the deadline. I was hoping that MAYBE he’d step it up in place of Hayes/Zuccarello but he just ****ing sucks.
It definitely is more impressive but I think writing off that Chytil can reach similar (not as good) levels to Pasta is sillyHe certainly wasn't a star yet, but they're definitely more impressive than Chytil's first two seasons.
Backes is a real big dude and wasn't really hurting him at all. It's a huge nothingburger. Can I ask a serious question? I know I’ve called him Lias Malhotra, and I’m trying to give him a chance, I don’t want to have an agenda with him, but does anyone else feel that Lias looked like he was intimidated by Backes there? Lias is known for his feistiness and he kind of just stood there deer in the headlights. Or am I seeing things? Again, this is a message board and I want to take a neutral approach to this, just want opinions, thanks and good night
Well, Backes has about 3 inches and 30 lbs on Lias, so yeah, he was probably intimidated. Can I ask a serious question? Evaluations like that explain why Milbury sucked as a coach and a GM.Milbury: “Is Zibanejad a top line forward? Well I don’t know about that”
Guy has 70 points in 76 games.
How does this dumbass have a job?
I mean, the guy is comparing Chytil to David Pastrnak. One of the best players in the league, as you know. I know Chytil seems like a boom or bust prospect, but I don’t think Pastrnak had such obvious issues with puck control and hockey IQ. Maybe Chytil fixes those, maybe not. But I think our expectations are too high. If anyone ever comes close to Pastrnak level, it will probably be K’Andre, in my opinion. But he’s a defenseman, so that comparison isn’t great. You should look at Pasta's first two years in the NHL. Not saying he will be as good as Pasta but its not like he came in and lit the world on fire
I'm not exactly neutral but this is Lias' first time dealing with something like that at this level. Should be a learning experienceCan I ask a serious question? Wow, they managed to overcome the Minnesota Wild and are currently holding a zero-point lead over a limping Coyotes team.u know theyre in a playoff spot, right?
I think he was just in shock that a player could do something so stupid and unexpected like that. Because I don’t think Lias did anything wrong. That was borderline assault by that moron Backes. Can I ask a serious question?
