9-8 season forthcoming, but we should be lucky it isn't 8-9.

you are kidding around I think, lol

But Going 8-8 and now 9-8 "every single year" does appear to be a satisfying tradition for a large portion of this fan base. Screw trying to get back on top.

In 27 of Canada's 36 games as offensive coordinator, the Steelers offense has failed to reach 20 points. The group has also never accumulated more than 400 yards in a game.

Brutal matchup and if I had to put money on the game I’d bet CLE- but a W tonight is critical. What’s hilarious is if you look at schedule this team can definitely win its next 4 games. And I think this will be the toughest one in terms of a matchup (even though Ravens are better team).

This is a huge game for many reasons.

If they get destroyed again and the offense scores less than 20 points, you need to fire Canada tomorrow.

I'm a Pickett supporter, but I'm starting to think Canada is ruining his career. They need a real offensive mind in there asap.

Tomlin needs to be on the hot seat as well for keeping him employed this long. Teryl Austin also sucks at is job.

I was. But that's where we are at with a portion of the fanbase.

It will be some other excuse. If they come out tonight and do what they did against SF, the seats for both coordinators should be getting red hot.

Has Tomlin ever fired a coordinator in-season?

I can’t recall and I’m going to bet no, since he knows he can do whatever and have a lifetime job.

I don't believe so. I know now one is going to be held accountable.

I mean Cowher and Dan Rooney opperated that normally. Rooney Tunes on the other hand decided it was a mortal sin to fire any coaches. I'm not sure if Rooney Tunes is aware the season started yet but I guess its a good sign he knows when to show up for the end of year PC.

I'm hopeful because of the two guys running the front office. That is where my hope ends right now. I think these coordinators are atrocious. This defense should be top 10...last week it didn't look top 20 and it had two weeks to prepare for SF and a QB coming off of a reconstructed elbow. Austin should have been sending 7 basically the entire first half. Rather he rushed 4 (dropping TJ into coverage) and letting Purdy find a rhythm. The offense just purely stunk in every facet, but the defensive gameplan was the fall of that unit. They were so unprepared for SF it was actually comical.

Eh.... There is nothing they can do w/o the Rooney Tunes stamp of approval. If Rooney wants a Punter in the first round, they have to take the punter.

If Rooney says its 2010, then everyone in the building has to go on eBay and find a 2010 calander.

Very soft D coverage and they’re getting 4 yards + on every run…this is just horrible soft D…jam those receivers

Keeanu Benton may be one of the next great 3-4 DLman in the league. He's unbelievably fast and explosive for his size and strength. I really liked Mazi Smith, but Benton is a pretty awesome consolation.
