Meh PSU/OSU arguments are silly.

OSU is vulnerable. Bad OL. They can't get to the LBs if their lives depended on it. They double team and when they try to come off to get to the second level, the LBs make tackles.

I think OSU is a top 10 team but I would be utterly shocked if they won the Championship. Too inconsistent at OL. DL is not getting tons of pressure. QB is really average. He has 2 insane WRs making him look decent. He stares his WR down from the beginning and throws way too many 50/50 balls. He just has 2 WRs that will make a very nice NFL career for themselves.

Oh and we are absurdly injured right now, too.

If they could get Surtain for a first, I’d do that and not even think twice about it. Even if Porter can play as well as he has in a larger role, CB is still a massive need for this team now and in the future.

If he gets traded though, he’d probably go for multiple firsts. He’s one of the best young corners in the league.
eh, that's a move you do if you think the team is close to contending for a title.

we can easily be 1-4 right now.

if we suffered a key injury (crosses fingers) could wind up a 5 win team. keep the draft picks

Lol. We’ll see come Saturday.

Great stuff from some of the guys on Twitter during the bye:

Brock Purdy finally lost a game& jerkoffs are jumping all over him. Meantime, Purdy urinates all over Pickett.

Mark spot on, as usual. Thankfully lots of people seem to be agreeing with him but still so many dopey Pickett apologists.

Gerry Dulac is a highly respected expert on the Steelers, a team he has covered for decades. He is eminently qualified to grade the players.
You, however, are not in ANY way qualified to criticize Dulac.

Really annoys me how people try to criticize Gerry. He is as good as it gets.

You are a goof Dulac was a Backup writer to to Ed Douchette when Douchette left PG for The Athletic he became number 1 Steelers beat writer & Flounder McHeartattack is a Joke Like You

I’ve already been on the Purdy bandwagon, but he definitely has it way easier than KP:

47% is ridiculous.

Meanwhile Purdy rolls in an O that schemes guys open very well:

Chuck Noll once said that when you get to the end zone and score a touchdown act as if you have been there before and know that you will be there many times in the future.

I get that Pitt and Penn State had an unbelievable rivalry at one time. But it has been a couple of generations since they were in the same ballpark of accomplishment in football.

And I mean this respectfully to both programs and am not saying anything that diehard fans of both don't know.

I don't get the need to punch down.

Let the Pitt people enjoy a great moment.

I have never understood it either unless you're in your 50's or 60's. I am sort of a fan of both teams...totally depends who I'm with and who they are playing. If they played each other I'd probably be more of a Pitt fan because I live in PIttsburgh and PSU cult is weird to me.

Do you think his son shoots a gun as well as his dad too?

I read the details of that case and Harrison owned a Fabrique Nationale 5.7 handgun, and guess what kind of casings they found at the crime scene.

Harrison's explanation for how his gun got outside of his safe and to the car wash made no sense either.

He got lucky the witness was a known hood or he would have been brought up on attempted murder charges for sure.

Or put another way, if he was an avg Joe he'd likely be in jail.

I think it was Outside the Lines or something on ESPN that had an entire episode on the case.

At worst, he was the shooter. At minimum, he was at the scene/covered it up ala Ray Lewis

But Charles Haley doesn't get elected in the HOF for like 6 years bc he's a bit of a psychopath towards his teammates/media.
The media bias makes me chuckle sometimes...

It’s not much different than the media making Ray Lewis into some kind of Jesus figure that was saving young minds.

That was the weirdest shit I’ve ever seen in the league TBTH.

Canada will be the scape goat. The 'proof' that the Steelers are doing something.

And will be replaced by another Canada.

What people aren't getting is that Canada is what Tomlin wants. He runs low risk low output offenses.

Tomlin wants to win games 3 to 0.

Canada will be fired. But anyone who believes that he will be replaced by anyone who opens up the offense at all are deluding themselves. Tomlin believes that a 1950 era game can win 75 years later.
This is so right that I’m not sure anyone can say more. Matt Canada’s contract will most likely just not be renewed. But the Steelers absolutely will not be hiring a young, fresh, innovative up and coming coordinator. It’s just going to be some other puppet

He absolutely killed that guy. Everything I have read, I can't imagine any other scenario.

I thought he shot him in the back or some shit but the guy lived?
I thought he died. Harrison has been involved in a lot of incidents. I remember when he was rolling through Philly and someone "randomly" shot at him.

Reggie Wayne has eluded to the fact that the guy who Harrison is after retiring is not the guy he was when they played. Wouldn't at all be shocked if Harrison has some serious CTE.

EDIT: You're right...the guy didn't die.
