No, it is not equally indefensible. No one can actually rationalize the Steelers keeping Canada outside of a few folks in that org. Tomlin and Sullivan have plenty of fans here and nationally.

What if I told you that the Pens and Steelers are pretty much the same team, but they play different sports?

Dunce of a HC who doesn't care anymore bc of early championships? Check?
HC who employs questionable Assistants? Check
GM who is doing all he can to supply talent? Check

Sully and Tomlin have a lot of similarities, but I don't view the roster situations as similar as all.

The GM maybe needed to do a little less here when it came to effectively trading Cam Sutton for Patrick Peterson

Big difference is one org knew it was time to move on and rebuild (guess it doesn’t matter as long as Tomlin is around though).

Pens are still stuck in 2017 but it keeps the Yinzers happy I guess.

GENO!!!

It wasn’t just trading sutton for Peterson Sutton cap hit is 12 million in 24 and 25 plus a void year in 26 of 4 million. Petterson they can get out of next season and it costs them 3 million against the cap and save 7 million. They can take that 7 million plus 4 million wallace is making this season and go get another CB to pair with JPJ

Okay, they went from a good corner to a washed one. I guess it improved the cap. But it made the team worse

Pardon me drawing from my 2021 playbook, but…

Dulac reporting Gruden would be viewed as a replacement for Canada because of his relationship with Tomlin. That would be absolutely wild.

He is a serviceable LT who would start for a handful of teams theres a a market for him
He has been the worst LT in the league this year, and it's not even close.

Big deal.

Did he cut his finger off at halftime like Ronnie Lott?

Messing around aside, Lott said he deeply regrets the decision (no shit).

"I was trying to laugh it off, but I felt sick,” he told the AP in 1986 of first seeing the nub. “I tried to stand up, but I broke into a cold sweat. It was just a total shock. I thought, 'Oh, man, I should have had the pin put in.’ … We are losing the compassionate side of sports. We're becoming gladiators. If I ever become a coach, I hope I never lose sight of the fact that players are people. They feel. They have emotions. I could have all of Eddie DeBartolo's corporations and it isn't going to buy me a new finger. It has given me a new perspective on life."

Have you seen the Giants Washington Jets Saintz Bears Broncos LT he has not been the worst. Saints are giving up 15 Qb hits a game

Not a ton of positives so far come bye week, but the inside linebacker play has been really solid so far this year.

Got bored at work and looked up the numbers. I think it speaks more to how bad they were last year, but through 5 weeks this year’s group has as many sacks, more TFLs, and more forced fumbles than Bush, Spillane, and Jack had all of last year.

So? He's very clearly bottom 5 in the league statistically. In 4 games he has 20 pressures, 14 hurries, 5 hits, 1 sack and he's playing next to a stud LG. Like I have said, if they get anything more than a 6th round pick, I'll give it up to Khan. Moore needs to be moved to G.
