Imagine being a Ravens fan. The last two games against the Steelers a totally neutered offense threw a dagger at the end of the game to win.

Was at the game and really focused on watching WR's in the first half and there wasn't much to throw to. Call is scheme, routes, or whatever but guys were not open. Second observation is JPJ must start. Adjust your D philosophy but they look so much better with him playing tight coverage than Pat Pete playing loose and trail.

Maybe, but it did sound like they were calling for the 1-on-1 matchup with Pickens by screaming Randy a bunch. Obviously we don't know what that means for their system, but Canada was not happy for some reason.

Most of the “insiders” claim he isn’t allowed to audible so I have no idea.

The Canada reaction is weird but maybe he just wants to get fired by now and keep collecting a paycheck, so he was mad KP and Pickens saved his job?

I noticed the same thing. The wide receivers mostly seemed incapable of getting open.

I know that these are skilled players.

So it has to be failed schemes and game plans.

Canada was just confused because it wasn't one of the three plays in his playbook.

He is allowed to aubile he audible a few times yesterday put on this play he was changing production he is starting to feel his hot reads better

I know it's fun to knock Canada, but that surprised look at the end likely came from Tomlin saying 'we're going for 2" in his headset. Canada knew he needed to get a play in

On Canada not reacting- I think it’s funny and hope he gets questioned about it and throws another mini tantrum to the media… but so many great coaches across sports are uber stoic no matter what to kind of lead the sideline from the front emotionally. Calm captain in choppy waters type thing. I actually respected it lmao.

Canada is in the booth so I think he was just crazy focused though. Not necessarily a leader of men haha

Pickett yelled “Randy” - according to football film hipsters I’ve watched YouTube videos of NFL teams often use “R” and “L” words to slide protection.

I think QB is the lone position where sitting for a year or two could really help. Every other position should start, unless they were drafted as a project. Broderick Jones should have started the season. JPJ should have started the season. Benton should have started the season. Herbig should have way more than 15% of snaps. Not playing these guys when they have shown flashes and proven capable is just kicking the can down the road for next year.

So I have been reading about this - Leftwich has apparently reached out to the organization multiple times for a multitude of roles ranging from a quality control analyst guy to now an OC. One has to question why they wouldn't at least give him a try since he did have success as a coach thus far. Kind of crazy to not give him a shot.

Quality control, making sure everything's being communicated properly from the top down and bottom up, a fresh voice in meetings...

You can see why Canada would be resistant to the idea, and maybe Tomlin doesn't want to do that to his guy, but speculation isn't going to go away, whether it's about firing Canada or whether Leftwich is a potential successor at OC.

Kaboly was just on the Pat Mcafee show a minute ago. Said the Byron Leftwich stuff is a “leave it on read” type of situation. The Steelers won’t do anything like that mid season. Said Canada will remain for the rest of the season and the rookies are supposed to get more playing time/start.

JPJ was apparently the highest rated CB this past week according to PFF, but I haven’t fact checked that. They just mentioned it on the show.

I'll call Sunday's win a Pyrrhic victory.

If they lost, Canada may have been fired this week.
The fact they won likely means Canada remains.
