Nice non sequitur. I asked you to tell me what you see in Pickett to think he is the guy. You gave me absolutely nothing. The best you could do is say the Steelers saw something in him, the same Steelers who according to you are holding him back because they are afraid of him throwing. Your entire response was to rip the Steelers. Not a damn thing about what Pickett does well or why anyone should think he deserves more responsibility. So yeah, go ahead and rip on my understanding of football. Still doesn't mean you gave an actual answer to a relatively simple question. Tell me what Pickett does well, if you can. If you can't, I think that says it all.
QBR is pretty much the same. So Rudolph is better at getting TDs and has the same QBR.You really don't seem to have any understanding of football.
Cool? That doesn't change the fact that every one of his other numbers aren't better than Pickett.
Because the Center BLOWS GOATSThey ran a qb sneak to the outside????
They only did because Pickett was shaken up.Hand to heart, teams shouldn't have that long to decide whether to ask for a review.
I get that the Steelers suck and are destroying him. I am asking you, with your much greater knowledge of football, to tell me what it is that you see in Pickett to think he is going to be the guy moving forward, should the Steelers stop sucking and destroying him. I don't see it, but as you said I am an idiot about football. I was hoping that you could let me know what you see. So far you have given me nothing.Maybe because they deserved to be ripped for how they handled him? Crazy thought.
They drafted a QB in the 1st round while being completely unwilling to let him go through growing pains and discover what does and doesn't work in the NFL. They absolutely deserve to be ripped for that. If they were such a win-now team and couldn't tolerate Pickett learning what works in the NFL, they shouldn't have drafted a QB in the first place.
The reality with this team is that they let Kenny play for about 4 games last year, which resulted in a bunch of turnovers as Pickett was trying to learn what works and doesn't work in the NFL. Rather than build on that and throw out the things that don't work, they just said "we want to win now, we can't have you turning over the ball at all". It's stupid and it's exactly why this team is going to toil in mediocrity.
