Oh and just on the what Pickett has shown not to be replaced -

Honestly, the main thing shown for not replacing him imo is that this team has a ton of problems and should target those first and foremost. Better to take another year to create a better situation for a QB and see what we've got going on, then throw in another guy to bust. That doesn't apply if you think you see a bona fide superstar available to pick but that's not likely.

But for me he's shown enough drives where he's displayed cool under pressure, accuracy on tough throws, and ability to keep plays alive then I can imagine him being a guy. A ton of people believed he was going to develop into being a Tier 2 QB at the end of the year. I don't know that one year of regression removes that potential.

How many times has this team scrapped to get a first down thst should get them started with momentum and then they just piss away the next three downs?

If the Browns actually had a good QB, they'd be a terrifying team. Their defense is a downright monster unit.

I get that the Steelers suck and are destroying him. I am asking you, with your much greater knowledge of football, to tell me what it is that you see in Pickett to think he is going to be the guy moving forward, should the Steelers stop sucking and destroying him. I don't see it, but as you said I am an idiot about football. I was hoping that you could let me know what you see. So far you have given me nothing.

I don't know that he's the guy going forward. Literally no one in this thread knows that's Pickett is definitely the guy going forward. The point people in here are making is that while Pickett may not be the guy, the team is absolutely not doing anything to help him.

It's bizarre how you can't understand this. There are 0 fans that think Pickett is definitely "the guy" at this point.

Canada sucks. Why a screen every 2nd play. If your only plan is to get the ball to Warren, just run wildcat with him.

You don't have to like the rule but that is a correctly called RTP.

Highsmith should have gone lower, and then he would've probably got called for landing on the qb.

So I was right when I said you have nothing. Ok. That's fine. I'll move along.

Do the browns really not have a penalty called on them all game? Take a shot downfield, they might be itching to call something, try for a dpi.
