Mike Tomlin eyeing massive offensive lineman at Senior Bowl

The Steelers are in the market for an offensive tackle, and head coach Mike Tomlin has his eyes on a massive one at the Senior Bowl. Tomlin spent the majority of his time with the offensive linemen during day one of practice, and one Ohio State OT certainly got his attention.

His tape is just so bad on YouTube though. Tough eval. I like Kancey, don’t know if he fits our scheme though.
 
So, our already tiny coaching staff lost two coaches so far this off season? We have one of the smallest coaching staffs, and apparently one of the bottom teams in spending on coaches outside of dumbass Tomlin. Maybe we should stop that?

Lost Flores & Coach Mitch. The top two. Top two of the weakest, shittiest coaching staff in the HISTORY of the NFL. What's left? Well, beside Dunbar, maybe OL coach Meyer (he at least deserves another year to prove himself). Maybe gum chewing Danny (years of experience count for sump'in). What's left? Larry, Moe & Curly.

And with all the coaching moves going on. They couldn't bring in ONE f***ing upgrade, SOMEWHERE?

Stop with the bellyaching and just be happy Tomlin wants to stay on and coach the Steelers.

There is no one of quality that wants this circus. Or to work for that guy.

My honest guess though is after the Arians debacle word got around quickly on how it is and now no one wants to go near Rooney Tunes or the Clown.

Theres still tons of fired Oc looking for work. Leftwhich still unemployed. Pep hamlton is about to be let go. Flores was not brought in until march

When Arians gave him the keys this year, he couldn't handle it. I watched all of Tampa, the media hated him down here too in PC. He sucks not worth it.

His tape is really not very good. I'd stay way far away from that guy. He may turn out to be great, but it would not be a chance I'd take. If I had to pick a guy to fall into the 2nd round, it'd be him. I don't know how someone who gets paid to watch football can look at Bresee and think to themselves that he is going to be a good pro.

I'd question the value of the stats given the level of competition he faced. It would come down to tape/combine, but I can't imagine his overall eval would be higher than someone like Stills from WVU.

Ben could have left and went elsewhere again no accountability. The guy ran the entire offense for years. Maholmes is way better Ben. Maholmes actually studys film uses play action practices with his teammates outside of mandatory practice times.

I have said he has 2 years to win a playoff game or its time to move on. Colbert said Ben was the unquestioned leader of the locker room called the others children and Ben was the 3rd highest paid player in history of the nfl. He wasted a ton of God given ability like Rodgers.

A lot of people talking about the quality of this draft and how bad it is. We will obviously see after the combine what we are looking at, but scouting departments are going to have their work cut out for them, it sounds.

Which people where?

It seems a case of what you want and where you're picking. Top five and you want an elite defensive player? You're happy. Top five and you want a QB? Maybe neither that happy or unhappy. Not the year I'd want for picking DL or ILB. WR doesn't seem much either. But TE and RB look strong. As long as you don't mind the absence of a true elite guy, CB and IOL look kinda good.
 
I feel like a legit starting LT is gonna take a package of our first and the 32nd.

I doubt we do that and will possibly go CB / DL. Free agency is gonna be key, so I’m looking forward to it.
