Time to see what our new front office is made out of because they sure got their work cut out for them. Between re-signing, restructuring, filling gaping holes, and having an extra premium pick, they can make or break this team this offseason.
Probably somewhere in between, although it could be argued if you don't make, you broke. *shrug*

Chiefs and Ravens made it to the SB because they both made big moves to build their respective teams.

The Eagles moves are well known as it’s been a big storyline all season.

But the Chiefs made bold moves involving a lot of draft capital to land Mahomes and trade for Orlando Brown.

Same deal with the Rams last season.

I’m hoping the Steelers find a way to come out of this draft with one of the top LTs, as this may be their best shot at being close enough to ever land a pro bowl type LT.

If they have to part with some draft capital to do it, so be it.

You can be bold when your Qb is a force multiplier i am interested in see what KC looks like if Brown walks or do they tag him for a 2nd year. Maholmes goes to 49 million and tuney goes to 22 million this next year.
Eagles went all in because they had a rookie Qb like your should. I don’t think this year the Steelers go all in. I look at 24 with 111 million in cap space as the all in off season. This off season rebuild the defensive depth allow the young offense to grow then go heavy on offense in 24. They aren’t winning a sb next year unless KP makes a giant leap

I'm curious about how much they restructure. Feels like the smart thing to do is to try and leave contracts alone, make just a good team next year, and go hell for leather in 2024 rather than push problems forwards... but if they really like where they are internally, that's a waste of a year on a rookie QB contract.

Minka and TJ are the guys they would restructure. No need to touch Cam contract let him retire in 2 years.
They either extend MT or he is traded cut they will probably extend Jack
I am on the build a good team next year. Any rookie Qb extension if done early after year 3 or 4 can keep the hit low

Note the Chiefs made a bold decision to let their 2nd best offensive player walk/traded. That takes some major balls.

Do you think the Steelers had the guts to do that to say, AB? Nope...status quo/don't rock the boat gets you .500 ball

Steelers version of what the Chiefs did last offseason would be like trading Watt or Fitzpatrick.

Yea my best analogy was AB in his prime. He would have returned a ton. But we had "players coach" Tomlin and his ability to reign in odd personalities which resulted in multiple championship appearances

They could trade Hill cause Maholmes is a force multipler and had the best TE still. Maholmes doesn’t need Wr 41 tds in the regular season and 21 went to a TE or RB. If they traded Travis then that would be like us trading AB.

Juju being on his way out of the league is a stretch. He was injured last year but outside of that had more than good enough numbers to stick around.

Teams weren’t exactly lining up to sign him, but ya he was never on his way out of the league.

Oh well, JJSS is a clown and a man child, not exactly news.

Teams all wanted him at the money Kc offered according to him we gave him a long term deal but he wanted to play with Maholmes and cash out. I do wonder if someone offers him the 3/30 mvs gage and boyd got

That smells like a load of horse shit he was shoveling.

Why would the Steelers offer him a long term deal when he had to come back with his tail between his legs last season, then got hurt?

Dude hasn’t had a 1000 season since 2018 like cmon.

Because they could get him cheap for a few seasons. Gage got 3/30 in tampa and has never reached a 1000 yards Boyd hasn’t seen 1000 since his extension MVS doesn’t have a 1000 yard season and got 3/30 from KC. Gallup got 11 million aav and doesn’t have 1000 yards in Dallas

He had contract offers from other teams before he came back to play with ben. but knew he wasn’t getting paid unless he balled out with Maholmes
