I think the Eagle goal line offense is one of the best things I've seen in football in a while. It's unstoppable. I really hope we can get back to being able to do that at some point in time.

Jalen Hurts had a phenomenal game, and he was by far the best player on the field, regardless of that fumble returned for the TD.

Hurts played well, but that fumble that went back for a TD was a pivotal turning point.

I know he and the Eagles bounced back from that, but giving a Mahomes lead team a free TD is eventual death.

Chiefs didn’t even force the turnover, as he just put the ball on the ground trying to switch hands.

If he doesn’t turn it over on that unforced fumble and they finish that drive, it’s 21-7 and not 14-14.

Pretty massive difference.

Hurts made one mistake, but that mistake was so damn costly.

Without question. That was the difference in the game. The Eagles defense could have helped the cause also by stopping the Chiefs at least one time in the 2nd half.

Either way, both teams are unbelievably well built. Their offensive lines are dominant. It was fun to watch. I think Philly also hurts themselves a bit by not running the ball at all. With that offensive line, they could keep Hurts clean and add more wrinkles. They have a great RB and don't use him.

The Philly D line feels like the biggest goats for the loss to me, but it’s hard to know for sure when you are watching a game with family and talking, not paying full attention.

Despite the insane sacks numbers I didn’t expect an ‘85 Bears SB performance, but I was looking for an ‘08 SB Giants D line result.

Giants D line was massive in that game and stopped the Pats run game cold and harassed Brady all day, putting on the ground 4-5 times.

No sacks and 158 yards let up on the ground?

The f***? Cmon…

I think 44 were Mahomes, but that doesn’t change the reality.

Yeah, the Eagles D-line was extremely underwhelming. Jordan Davis did squat, Cox did squat, Suh did squat.....only guy that showed up was Hargrave. And he could be gone via FA. I could see that #10 pick now being a DL/DE/Edge guy now. They need someone to help up front.

And this game showed you can win with a strong running game and a QB who makes the right throws. Mahomes only had 182 yards. I didn't see anything that Kenny can't do.

Eagles had the perfect game plan but the Defense just couldn't put pressure on Mahomes in the second half or stop the run. But chewing up clock to keep him off the field was the right move.

Hurts should have been picked off twice. One on his early TD throw. That was such horrible DB play by KC. KC also left guys running wide open most of the night.

Philly has a nice offensive scheme, but Hurts still underwhelmed me as a passer in general. Still a phenomenal performance overall by him all things considered, though.

Yeah, Philly D line didn't do anything, but that Chiefs o-line is incredible. Both o-lines are incredible. Creed Humphrey is a generational center. Many believe Schmitz in this draft is going to be very similar to him. My money would be on Joe Tippmann out of Wisconsin.

Honestly, I'd take the guys in the middle of both lines at Wisconsin - Keeanu Benton and Joe Tippman. I think both are immediate starting quality. Mazi Smith is my favorite DL right now, but Benton is a very close second. I have soured a bit on Ika. His weight is concerning to me and why he put so much on in the last year or two.

The game last night was awesome. Each conference had a great team this year and the game lived up to the hype. I hate that it came down to that penalty. It was a bit ticky-tac but I think it was the right call by the letter of the law.

Selfishly, I would have preferred to see the ref let them play and not call that. KC likely kicks the go ahead FG and has to make a stop to win the game. That would have been a more dramatic and satisfying finish from a neutral fan prospective than the easy chip shot 27 yard FG that was basically a walk off FG given how little time was left. Great game. Just had a bit of an underwhelming finish similar to the KC/Cincy game a few weeks ago. I'm sure the Chiefs fans are thrilled either way though. It's obviously a special time for their franchise.

Tbf, and maybe I'm off the mark here, but I think a huge part of what was going on in that game was the Eagles were so focused on stopping Mahomes to Kelce and on not letting him take tons of chunk plays that they left a lot of room for easy running plays. Ain't nobody that afraid of Kenny Pickett.

But huge credit to Chiefs' OL too.

Nailed it.

It's astonishing to me that from an entertainment standpoint, the NFL rules allow that. I can't think of any other major sport where a one score game can be effectively over with nearly two minutes to go because one team can basically elect to stop playing.

I don't like that call because it had zero consistency but nobody would be talking about it if it was the first half. It's the scenario it allowed that sucks.

The SB cemented for me what I felt all along - that the Steelers need a dominant O-line.

If they get a LT and someone on the interior, including a center, I'll be extremely happy.

Having a great D helps, but ultimately KP and a dominant O-line is what will win this team games in the playoffs and maybe give them a SB shot one day.

For me LG is the one draft position I want them to absolutely target in the draft. LT would be nice but I feel like there's only three guys who are probably better than Dan Moore next season and almost definitely better than him going forwards, and I'm not sure we get any of them. C, I won't say no to a great one but I think Cole did a good job and I get the impression moving him to G doesn't get a ton out of him. There's a case for a RT too.

But for me Dotson is the guy who kills the unit most and he's also the next "stick or twist" contract wise too. He's the one guy I think they're both really well advised to replace and where they can do it easily.

Also given how they closed out the season, I'm not sure I want to mess with what the OL is doing that much. I dunno how much I trust them, but they were playing really well.

Both teams had a great offensive line and put up a lot of points.

Hopefully we can draft a stud LT to help our team

30 days until free agency and 73 until the draft. Should be an interesting next few months
Time to see what our new front office is made out of because they sure got their work cut out for them. Between re-signing, restructuring, filling gaping holes, and having an extra premium pick, they can make or break this team this offseason.
