Herbig is a poor man's Drew Sanders. I think they will try Herbig at MLB. He's good in coverage and a smooth mover.

Yeah we need someone who can cover. I thought that was one area we were clearly lacking in. Hopefully this moves us up even ever so slightly.

So happy with this draft. Only question now is which Qb we draft. Probably the UCLA guy in the 7th
 
Jeremiah had him at 75, we got him at 132. Washington was 33rd on his list we got him at 93.
 
I'm normally not as into the draft as I am this year. I have absolutely no complaints. Would I have liked to get Branch instead of Porter? Yes probably. But I'm not going to complain about it. This has been a stellar draft for Omar Khan!
 
The thing I love is our two biggest needs were addressed with the first two picks. And we didn't have to reach in order to do so. And then as the draft unfolded we garnered plenty of value. According to Jeremiah we have five picks in the top 75, and four in the top 40.

C, maybe B… I liked the Jones pick and thought taking flyers on some potentially really good players if they hit their upside in Benton and Washington was good…not happy with the legacy picks…I mean the last pick was like Derek Watt…he’s going to be a special teamer only

I prefer taking chances on guys with high ceilings rather than safe picks with higher floors

I disagree I think Herbig can play. We got him in the fourth round he should have been mid-third rounder at worst. See, you absolutely are entitled your opinion. I don't care if they're Legacy picks, I just care if they can play the game. And I have high hopes for Porter and I think Washington could be a steal where he was taken. And herbig here? I love it. The other thing about these guys that have ties the Steelers they probably know their character better than other such guys. So they have more idea what to expect both on and off the field. That's an important variable to consider.

So two badgers, two bulldogs and a Nittany lion. I love this although I'm a big Pitt fan but man, this is just tremendous!! We have to be the leader in the clubhouse as far as extracting value.

Where are you getting that he's only a special teamer?

The only useless brother is Derek Watt, the rest are + value.
