He can’t be much worse than what they’ve got but that is an ugly looking route. Impossible to judge off of just one practice clip, but if he’s looking like that consistently I can somewhat understand why he hasn’t seen the field.

Yeah I don't want to read too much into one practice rep but saw this clip floating around of him running the same route during OTA's. Not crazy to think he's still not 100% despite being a full practice participant and they're holding him out due to precaution.

How many years in a row has Highsmith been down with a groin? I feel like this is the 3rd or 4th year in a row.

I can't remember what's been reported, but that was his first missed game since 2021 so he must have normally been playing through them if he was.

I've been super happy with how Fields has done as a Steeler. It's just night and day vs his entire tenure in Chicago. The player Khan got is what Chicago was hoping for but apparently don't ever plan on actually figuring out how to help any Qb they draft.

I feel like Roman Wilson will be talked about like Darth Plagueis the wise. We'll never see him play but the potential will be discussed like some mythical WR stud we had. It's a shame, we really could have used that extra weapon on offense.

I know they try to avoid surgery until it's necessary but I wish they'd just look at it and figure out that the better fix is under the knife maybe. Because either they're going too hard in practice or he needs to strengthen something to avoid this being a chronic issue.

Let us sing the ballad of Roman Wilson...watch him get hurt putting his sweats on the morning of the game vs Dallas.

He had this injury in the summer and they let him play anyway rather than taking care of it, now he's out a few weeks and had an MRI so we maybe find out he could be out longer.

The Steelers need to fire their WR scouts if they are seriously considering XFL talent as potential options
Why do you think he's even on the Steelers radar? Also, I didn't know the XFL was still a thing or even back really. In any case, he sucks anyway, he's put up nothing of value in his time in the NFL and he was a former 2nd rounder, what a waste of a pick.

I mean sure the Steelers need depth, but they're not at the point where this bloke is even on their radar, I'd rather the Steelers took another shot at Claypool if anything, Maybe his dumb ass is humbled enough to show up and play and shut up.

If his toe is healed up enough, I'd just sign him to the practice squad and see how he looks, at worst he gets released, at best, he shows up learning from being a twat and wants to be an adult.

He literally just worked out for the Steelers before signing there, haha.

My guess is Aaron Rodgers pushes the Jets hard to get Adams. He did it last year with several players.

And the Jets can offer the Raiders their own holdout in Reddick.
My guess is a 3rd plus Reddick gets this done

From the "this isn't news" department, it's crazy how often Watt gets held

So re Najee stuff -

Kozora did a breakdown on most of his carries

Some helpful soul on reddit pulled video from that for a 40 second video for the impatient

As far as I can see, it looks very much like what I said. Those are just brick walls. You even get an example of Patterson running Crunch, then Harris running it and getting nowhere near the same blocking. But then the Colts played the Patterson run like it'd be a pass play and I don't see that in any of the Harris runs.

If the Steelers want a better running game, they've got to stop teams keying in on their main running back.

edit: Here's Smith on the subject, although I'm posting this mainly because of the admission that they didn't expect the opposition to do what they did. That was the tale of Canada, it better not be the tale of Smith.
