Nathan Peterman is starting for the Bears today so that trade is looking better and better.

If Fields gets shut down eventually, its possible the Bears could end with the top pick which would be amazing.

He needs an offense that hides lack of arm strength his lack of ability to throw deep. In college under whipple he was able to throw to wide open Wr he doesn’t have the strength to fit it tight windows constantly. He needs to be on the move and run more. He needs to anticipate and read defenses pre snap to he can throw it early in the windows like Mac Jones. West coast and RPo are the best for him.

He didn’t have a running game in college he didn’t use play action in college

KP has a good arm, not sure what you are talking about.

Just yesterday I literally posted stuff about Warner and Trestman saying he had the arm to make any NFL throw, so again don’t take my word for it.

He put a laser on Pickens hands right between the safety and corner and Pickens dropped it.

He was driving the ball well last game and has the arm strength to throw any NFL route.

Acting like he has Duck Hodges arm strength is silly.

Wilson has an absolute cannon and it’s not doing him much good.

KP doesn’t need some gimmick to succeed. He again needs proper coaching.

He doesn’t have arm strength to make every through. He is average arm strength like Dak henike cousin Dalton. You can build an offense around him but he came into the Cincinnati game 22-53 0 tds and 7 interceptions on passes over 10 yards. He can not afford to be late on throws. He needs to win pre snap there a reason he is struggling against zone defenses right now

Ya he does have the arm to make all the throws. You are writing nonsense, seriously.

He’s struggling agt many looks right now because he’s a rookie, not because of his arm.

Allen has a freaky cannon arm and he had similar struggles his rookie year.

Wilson with his massive gun is struggling to make intermediate, shallow and deep throws.

It takes most guys 2-3 years to learn how to read coverages, process their reads quickly, and anticipate throws.

Not sure why I have to keep pointing this stuff out.

It’s like some of you have never watched a rookie QB before.

I think there are some on this board that never went through a losing season

Now they are losing their ****

Man, with some more solid Tomlin coaching we should be able to land a Top 3.

I don't think any of these games are easy wins ... Atlanta has offense and Carolina actually looks coached now that Rhule has left. Neither are good but we suck too.

No he can’t make ev

no he doesn’t it is why he throws dirt balls why he floats tons of passes. His strength and the justification for drafting him was because of his ability to diagnose process fast. In college before his Covid senior year he was averaging 7 yards per throw he lived in the intermediate lane. He isn’t some raw 22 year with upside there’s a reason he fell to 20 and there’s a reason he would have been Qb 5 in Lawrence draft behind trusk and mills and why if he was in this class he would be 4th. He is supposed to be mac jones

Atlanta doesn’t have an offense or defense. Pitts injury killed it. Carolina has a defense and back to play darnold.
Colts will play tons of zone and are banged up. The offense should crack 30 each of these 3 games

One of the main skill knocks on KP coming out was that he couldn't drive the ball with the strength that was necessary to hit WRs in the windows he'd see in NFL coverage.

I can find plenty of worm burners for every NFL QB.

Favre burned up half of Lambeau and he had one of the strongest arms and biggest hands in NFL history.

You are creating a narrative that doesn’t exist to somehow justify the need for Canada’s garbage offense.

But McVey and Flores liked him that one time!!

Again I don’t care if they fire Canada or not. Every oc not named whisehut was blamed since Ben was drafted. The next oc will be a Qb coach with no play calling experience who will be familiar with RPo motion waggle sweeps and be tasked to get the most of KP. I guy who is limited but has moxy

It doesn't matter if Johnson is a "good WR" if he and the QB don't have chemistry :dunno:
Yeah I do wonder what they do with DJ the free agent Wr class is garbage. Juju and hardman Aghlor Lazard aren’t anyone Wr 1 and low end Wr 2.
Cooks and Dj 18 million might be interesting to tons WR needy teams

My man Payne just knocked the ball up so glad Washington is letting him get FA he will look so good in BG

The Bears are going to end up giving up basically a late 1st for Claypool

He had 2 receptions and 53 yards today, but good god what a terrible trade for them.
I was so happy to see them lose today lol…I will even more happy to see the Steelers lose tomorrow …top 10 pick here we come!

Wait. You think Steelers O score 30 points in each of those three games???
Or is that 30 combined.

My hope for our picks is:
#5
#35 (Bears)
#37

I think that's realistic...would be even better if we could trade down the 1st...

Texans get #5
Steelers get #13 (Browns) and #33

Maybe a 3rd as well. I don't understand NFL value well.

I'd only trade down if they were sitting with a top-3 pick and someone wanted to trade up to draft a QB. I don't think you'd get a ton by trading down from a pick in the 5-7 range to a pick that I'd want. If they're sitting at #5, I'm taking either the best LT or CB. It may be taking them a bit too high, but I'd rather not trade down to like #10 and risk missing out on them.
