Head coaches that stick to just head coaching don’t matter as much as people think…let your coordinators do most of the work with your overarching philosophy, rally the troops and really the only significant decisions you have are challenges/ time outs…Tomlin’s problem isn’t that he’s a terrible “head coach” (and he’s awful with challenges, game management lol)…it’s that he assumes playcalling duties and has inserted himself in personnel decisions to the detriment of the talent we have, or lack thereof…like every defensive player doesn’t have to be uber athletic but have limited football IQ lolSo basically head coaches really don’t matter?
And ya, Colts are a good team with good players at 4-6, that recently fired their coach and are bouncing around their starting QBs.
Denver is also an absolute mess with the worst offense in the league.

Totally unfair of us to expect a 16 year veteran coach be able to out coach a dude with only high school level experience.
