Bears lose again. Claypool puts up another bad game.

I get what the Bears were thinking going after a WR for Fields, but damn I think that’s gonna look like a bad move for them in the long run.

Bears fans are pointing to the crappy free agent Wr market and their inability to draft WR as justification for the trade. Claypool is the youngest Wr on their roster but to me you just take Wr in round 2 instead of having to pay him next off season

I think Claypool will eventually be fine, right now he's a product of the Steelers toxicity. He has the chance to distance himself from that and re-learn like a Rookie.

Steelers three and out, muffed punt return and then god awful calls and throws short of the sticks and Najee running into an open D man with his lack of vision…now that’s the Steelers we know and love lol

Then the announcers were like “considering where they started, the Steelers should consider themselves lucky.” Uh, what? They didn’t even TRY to get past the 5 yd line where they started with that playcalling. :eyeroll:

How many drops do you think DJ will have this game?

I’m going with 2.
DJ doesn’t even see the ball with Pickett in there, but Najee looks well on his way to having +2 drops…he can’t run very well and he can’t catch, so why is he in there? Ah, looks like Warren is getting evaluated for an injury…sweet

Chase Claypool underperforming has nothing to do with the Steelers “toxicity.” He just sucks. Plain and simple…he just isn’t a good receiver and the Bears are absolutely going to regret that move

I mean you could be right. At the time I thought it was poor asset management by the Bears and thought it was a joke the Steelers thought he was worth that.

If though I'm right then getting away from Tomlin was good for his career.

It seems like the offense is working better today than it has for most of the year.

Although some great kickoff returns probably helps a lot with that.
