So harbaugh is 1-3 in his last 4 playoff games with a league mvp. If you take out the 2012 Flacco run is 4-5 in the playoffs. Tomlin never coached a league mvp his HOF Qb played like garbage in the playoffs
He is 1-2 against Jodie in the playoffs his lone win came in 2012. Tomlin Ben in 2 SB Hairball hasn’t

Both guys need to start winning in the playoffs, not sure why you and the other poster think that’s some a-ha moment.

Like I care if Harbaugh gets fired or loses more playoff games, but unlike you and this other cat I can see past my intense dislike for Harbaugh and realize he’s been the better coach.

Their playoff records speak for themselves over their careers, and one coach has done way more with less on offense, while the other has significantly underachieved with some of the best skill position players of this era.

1. Rivera might be fired if Washington misses the playoffs.
2. Carrol has multiple losing seasons with Wilson
3. McDermott and Reid have the best 2Qbs in the league

1. Would be a very Washington move to fire Rivera for not going to the playoffs with a poop team

2. Carrol is winning with Geno Smith

3. Lmao. blup blup blup

If Tomlin and Harbaugh had their records flipped, I’d be giving Tomlin the credit, especially because I despise Harbaugh.

But believe what you want if it’s convenient for you.

Every single hard fact supports Harbaugh being the better coach, but apparently blowing off “a few more playoff wins” is your excuse because that’s such an easy accomplishment.

Harbaugh wasn’t the coach of the Steelers so why would I have cared if he should or should not have been fired at any point?

That’s not going to change what their playoff records are.

It’s not a convenience thing man it’s an opinion

See if their playoff resumes were flipped, I’d personally give more credit to Harbaugh. I don’t think all playoff wins are weighted equally. I personally value conference championship wins more than one and dones or at least think it levels the playing field. And that’s essentially the difference in their records.

And that doesn’t even factor in first round byes.

Another thing to consider with Tomlin is his playoffs wins the past 10 years were against a pretty weak Matt Moore led Dolphins team, an Alex Smith led rebuilding Chiefs team, and a gift by the bungles. All with teams that were considered super bowl contenders.

Yeah, that Cinci game we had absolutely no business winning. If not for Burfict and Pacman being idiots, we would have lost.

The NFC East is one of the two the best divisions in the league this year lol

I'd put money on Carrol winning 11 games

So if the ravens do not win a playoff a game this year that means from 2013 to 2023 they have 2 wins in that span. You guys kill for 3 in 10 years.

They still have the 49ers who beat them the 1st time 2 rams games KC Jets. Even if you give them the Raiders and Panthers they need to get 3 more to get 11.
Washington still has the Giants 2 times and cowboys could end up 1-5 in that division

And if the Ravens win playoff games this year you will just roll out more nonsense so why bother?

When Tomlin develops KP or another QB, starts winning playoff games and surpasses Harbaugh in playoff wins, then you will have an argument.

Until then it’s just a Steeler fan being a homer.

It’s not a convenience thing man it’s an opinion

You pretend like having an opinion means you can’t be wrong - and ignoring the facts out of convenience to your opinion is kind of comical.

Having one more conference championship doesn’t trump Harbaugh’s ability to win more playoff games.

I’m looking at consistency over a long period of time, year over year.

The guy with the superior W-L playoff record while having a disadvantage on O, the guy who actually went through the greatest coach and QB of his generation on the way to a SB, has pretty clearly been the more successful coach.

The fact both need to start winning in the playoffs again is a separate issue, and I don’t see Tomlin getting a leg up there anytime soon.

They beat the Raiders and Panthers. Rams suck this year, Seattle probably wins both but could drop one, sure. 49ers and Jets are in Seattle, 2-0 is possible, 1-1 likely. Give a loss for the Chiefs.

Yeah the coaches can’t throw it for him. Hopefully he learns nfl open is way different than college open soon

The coaches are not doing a good job preparing a Rookie QB. It's already been documented the coaching staff doesn't spend much time preparing for much of anything. We've been over this.

I always find it funny when grown adults argue over a coaches playoff record, like its anything more than random. Might as well argue about who is more magical Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny.

I think that’s total horse sh**. Tomlin is a joke. He can’t manage the clock, he sucks at challenging plays, he’s been calling the d plays for years while we struggled, he only hires complete moron assistant head coaches.
Even if everything you said is true, he is still on par with guys like Sean Payton, Harbaugh, and Andry Reid (pre Mahomes).
Weird.
