Jones had you know, good coaching.

It matters. A lot.

Roth isn’t here to hide that glaring deficiency anymore, even though you refuse to acknowledge that, the reality still stands.
Roth didn’t hide anything he should have retired after the browns play off loss.
KP was a multi year starter in college in a pro style system he isn’t blaming the coaches he is blaming the players Executing the play calls

Canada is useful to Tomlin and Rooney as the sacrifice to pretend that they make changes in the off-season.

He is the Kevin McClatchy of the Steelers.

I suspect that’s pretty close to the truth, because nothing about keeping Canada around anymore makes any logical sense.

There are zero sound arguments to keeping around a guy who has failed 26 games in a row, and is heading up their worst offense since the 60s.

He's blaming everyone including the coaching. This is mostly a coaching issue.

No he chosen to dink and dunk Tomlin let him go no huddle against Miami and against the Eagles from the start and he chose the dump offs.

Yet, even in the no huddle, they were in the pocket quick. Like I said before, he's a rookie and not in any means out of the blame game. It's not even something that's just all a sudden an issue. Just that Ben was able to stand and withstand some of that pressure being as big as he was. Kenny has the legs and is able to run out of some of the trouble. Kenny wants to win like anyone and took some chances that cost them, but watch, he barely has time.

Just because he should have retired doesn’t mean he didn’t hide the glaring coaching deficiencies of Tomlin and Canada.

It’s ok, I know you are still in denial. Not easy going all in on bashing a guy and then having to face the reality he was actually saving this team from… well this.

I really don’t care if KP is blaming the playcalling, anyone with a football IQ above 12 can see Canada has no idea what he’s doing.

Mac Jones would be a disaster in this offense, just like every other QB who has been unfortunate enough to run it.

He's a rookie playing behind probably the worst offensive team. These are the growing pains, and the team needs to get better. Half the battle is a O-line who can actually block.
He is a large reason why they are the worst offense.

His comments were very damaging to the coaching staff though.

It was the worst Steelers offense in 50 years for 21 games before KP took over.

One would have to be a complete mental midget to think a rookie QB having to toss the ball 35+ times a game was going to change anything.

Coaching matters. Always will.

I’m sure Tomlin will keep turning stones again.

Anyone have MR on their fantasy team, you may be in luck!

How was it about the coaching staff. He called out the players for not watching film and making mental mistakes. He knows nothing changes even if they replace the Oc if they keep falling mentally.

I am just hoping for a few 2nd half tds from KP. The Eagles pulled there starters and played prevent and he couldn’t lead a 2nd half td drt

Are you a Pitt fan? I’m so sick of Pitt fans deflecting ANY blame of Pickett.

I am hoping to wake up to find Matt Canada has been fired. A man can dream right?
Hopefully, he is one of several coaches let go.

I f***ing hate Pitt.

Again, if you think an offense that has been historically bad for the last 21 games was going to get fixed by a rookie QB, I’ll take whatever shit your on.

There is an obvious reason you don’t want to rely on your rookie QB to win games and throw it 35+ times a game.

Predicting this offense wouldn’t be saved by KP and the fans would quickly turn on him was one of the easiest predictions I ever made on here.

I even had to defend MT who I didn’t want them to sign, because he got a raw deal running this shitty amateur hour offense.

Steelers have given up 43 explosive plays which is most in the league.

I think a huge problem with this team that gets glossed over because of the offense/Canada is the defense being pretty bad.

Fitzpatrick is great at the style points when tackling a guy 32 yards downfield.

I hate Canada, but Pickett doesn’t seem to be improving from his first start.

Well either he’s a horrendous pick that can’t handle the NFL, or maybe he needs an NFL OC, which he currently doesn’t have.

So many of you couldn’t wait to be rid of Roth and blamed him for everything, so welcome to hell.

I’d be a liar if I said a part of me isn’t enjoying watching the Roth mouth breathers have to face reality without him.

Steelers have the seventh easiest remaining schedule in the league.

Meaning as I said earlier. Expect them to win a handful of games and the wrong narrative to be that Tomlin righted the ship and no changed are needed.

Post Roth life looking ugly as f*** huh?

Bummer.

It’s ok, Tomlin and Canada will figure it out, no need to worry about welching on that bet.

Changes will be made they have 19 uDFA so there will be roster turnover regardless.
If KP actually shows improvement regardless of wins or losses then they will be fine.

I was ready for post be. Life last year just didn’t realize they would replace him with a poor man’s Duck in round 1

Well some good free advice:

- Careful what you wish for
- Never take a sucker’s bet

Roth may be the last great Qb many of us see play for this team if it takes them another 25-30 years to find him again.

I warned you repeatedly what was coming, now time to deal with it and please save your drama for the stage.

Im still completely unconcerned about KP. What I am concerned about is Najee. Warren is markedly better. If this offense could run the ball 25-30 times a game, KP would look drastically better. They ran the ball 14 freakin times. This is not an environment for a rookie QB.

Warren needs to start right now. They need to commit to him running the ball.
