He needs conditioning and usually gets into game shape by playing but his mental gaffes have been really bad. Probably the result of him and Harden not meshing yet......and hopefully that comes with time bc Harden looks ready to take on a more prominent role but Doc keeps wanting to run the offense mostly through Embiid even when it isn't going well. That is Doc's typical stubborn lack of adjusting MO but it is tiresome because it keeps carrying over from the previous season....

although Harden has played well, I saw alot of standing still while he pounded the ball for most of the shot clock and forced shots.

Yeah the broadcast crew made the same point...should be at most 3 dribbles then make a play including Embiid making his way to the basket....it was a slow-motion offense all night

Hopefully in the 2nd half the Sixers can pull away from this G league Spurs team. Letting them hang in so far....will LMAO if Pop beats Doc...

I simply do not like the rotation mix, sorry. Harrell has been a nonentity for 3 games (god forbid we get Reed's energy for momentum); no one is available for 3s, by skill or design. To the latter point, the offense is just sluggish in its pacing. It's a chore to get non-Maxey 3s. I never thought I'd pine for Shake Milton, but here we are. Try something different, Rivers?

I'm not a fan of getting rid of Doc, but if this is the Sixers version of Girardi then sacrifices have to be made.
