The good and bad news is Joel was a black hole tonight, which is not the norm. Glacially slow making decisions against a team that will always double (triple!), lazy TOs. Few late easy buckets made his stat line look better.
The Sixers managed to do a terrific job neutralizing Maxey until the 4th. Harden looked like he had a half step back in preseason, and he absolutely does not look the same as last season. I mean the step backs come and go (and don't really prove that point) but part of it was mental: I thought he was really efficient with how he used his drives after getting through the first layer, which he did. He didn't force shitty foul draw attempt layups. Bit of mid-range, dribble outs, dimes, etc.
Harrell was Stone Hands McGee tonight. Woof. I like Melton a lot, but you can tell through his few games so far that his offensive role needs to be simple and direct. I thought the rotation mix left something to be desired.

How do Sixers fans claim their free Chick-fil-A nuggets?
Sixers fans will have to download the Chick-fil-A app, where the offer can be claimed following the game, if you live in the Greater Philadelphia area. The free nuggets will be available until 10:30 a.m. the next morning.
Once the offer is claimed, fans can redeem it by scanning the app or using it to place a mobile order within three days of the game.
The “Bricken for Chicken” era begins Thursday night, when the Sixers face Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks in their home opener in South Philly. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., and the game will air on TNT.
