Completely agree, very solid. We needed it, the team was broken and falling apart. Looks like 2 different teams compared to the start of the year. Goaltending included.

Yeah but the bonus is, realistically it should have taken a lot longer to get back in the race to this degree. We were looking at 40-50 games of 0.630 to get us back into the hunt. Instead we've got 17 games of 0.823 and a spike shell for the cars in front.

Agreed only a matter of time but credit to the guys for gutting it out and putting in the work. There's no way we should be this close already.

Won't be a problem. This team is remembering who they are which is the team that went 17-0-1 to finish last year after acquiring Ekholm. Seeing some growth with some players on the roster as well. Get a goalie so we don't run Skinner into the ground and this team is going to continue steam rolling. Honestly even if we don't until the deadline they'll continue to roll with Pickard backing up.

Draisaitl still trying highly improbable passes at a high rate. When he skates he looks good, he doesnt do it often enough though. Seemed to get a little boost after the snipe from the point.

All I kept reading on the mainboards was how the Oilers only have a chance at a wild card spot. Well they're 6 points back of the Kings, and 10 back of Vegas with 3 games in hand. I think they have their sights set a little bit higher than a wild card spot.

If there was ever a scheduled loss game, this was it. After New Year's, coming home, weird schedule the last couple of weeks.

Really impressed. Previous iterations of this team would have blown it and the PGT would be ugly.
