Don't look now but only 6 points behind the Kings if they lose tonight and 10 behind Vegas with 3 games in hand.

Also, can HFOil please start to give Skinner his due already FFS? He hasn't had to be amazing all the time but he's been rock solid back there for a long while now. The Tampa game was really his only fumble, Vegas game possibly as well. Been very good otherwise.

It’s absurd how quickly they’ve climbed back into the playoff race considering g how far out of it they were. That’s gotta be terrifying for all the teams around them.

If they end up in a wildcard spot, they might not be the underdogs.

A McGenerational team carry with 5 point night with ultra efficient 16:35 toi. Line 1 back from their one game Holiday sabbatical to torch an 11 point night. Great to see Nugent Hopkins bury two goals which helps his game and team when he works more shot first action into his game. Skinner rocks a .946 37 save night behind team defense that waivered a bit in the second period.

Top line fire all that's needed tonight.

Flyers should just decline their PP's. Oilers Win. Thought it was even a casual effort outside of McDavid and we win going away. Flyers seem like another eastern club that lose a lot of games on the western road swing.

His starts was so bad that I think people need to look at his save percentage since the team and he turned things around. The full season is going to be tough still.

Nah. If the team continues to play as they (mostly) have been, then I seriously think they can beat any team. We won't always win, but the games will always be winnable IMO.

Can we take a moment and just appreciate the beauty that is the Oilers royal blue home jerseys. The designer was in his bag that day.

Also, shout out to McDavid 5 point game, Nuge was Huge, real smooth on both finishes and can stick handle in a phone booth that guy. 2nd line when they're out there were buzzing. Liked Kane's game as well, had couple of nice shifts; one in particular when he bulldozed through the whole team and nearly created something out of nothing.

Defense was great, what a luxury to have Nurse and Ekholm 1 and 2 on the left port and Bouchard is surreal. Bouchard, this season has played like he has in the playoffs last 2 years, the kid is a gamer and magic on offense. Skinner's play has been surging through the roof lately and showing he can perform if there's a backup that can share the workload.

Not seeing any of the gifs at all. Its like the Flyers PP, it just never shows up. lol

For awhile I was thinking just take more penalties, seems the Flyers lose momentum everytime they have a man advantage.

How can a Flyers team be better shorthanded than on the PP?

it’s actually crazy how good Mcdavid is.

Whether or not we ever win a cup with him, I’m just so glad I got to watch him in an oilers uniform.

On a night where Bouchard looked average, and Carter Hart was very good, Skinner and others stepped up.
