It was players that apparently didn't like the celebration. Mike Johnson on TSN earlier said some of the players didn't like it because they don't want to chase a guy half way down the ice to celebrate. It's kind of a weird respect thing where the guy should celebrate with his teammates because the goal is a collective effort or whatever. Has nothing to do with race.

Personally I loved the celebration. But I think it rubs certain players the wrong way for the reasons mentioned above.

Galchenyuk went 20 feet and turned back towards his teammates right away though. Anyway, I'm just saying what Mike Johnson said. Personally I really don't think it's about race whatsoever. Could be wrong, obviously, but just my personal opinion.
